Who's Going in October 2005??!!*MNSSHP dates & info*

New update on our resort - moved from AKL to CSR - 10/1 - 10/4. We'll be at wdw from 9/26 to 10/4 and originally had a split stay between AKL & POP then decided to do the free dining and stay at one place. CSR became the compromise + we're saving a lot of money with the change!

Our plan so far:

9/26 - Arrive then Sci-Fi/fantasmic
9/27 - MK - LTT - wishes
9/28 - AK - Bomas
9/29 - EP - Marrakesh
9/30 - resort day Ohana's
10/1 - EP - Le Cellier
10/2 - MNSSHP
10/3 - Cali Grill (first time there!)

I called for ADR at the 90 day mark for Le Cellier and the earliest seating I could get was 8:50 (or 4 pm which I didn't even consider). This is for two people! That's the only time I'm not happy about.

Talked to a delightful CM who made several suggestions about the ADRs and times. I then called back this am and made an ADR for Cali Grill. We're planning on eating light on 10/2 then going to MNSSHP in the evening.

Other than the dinners for the second half of our trip, I haven't planned to much yet. I created a table based on all the info I got everywhere - best/worst days from touring plans, times (at least for Sept), fireworks/parades, and special events, then created our schedule.

I've packed more in the beginning because I want to make sure I get to do/see certain things like Wishes, Fantasmic & Illuminations. I really wish we could have stayed at a Monorail resort again (stayed at Poly last trip and want to go back) but our budget is more suited to CSR (which I know we'll enjoy but...) I guess I have Poly envy!

Please wish me luck for a CRT breakfast. I tried today but was unlucky so I will make another attempt tomorrow.I do have a back -up plan. I made an ADR for the storybook princess breakfast at Epcot on 10/2 just in case the luck doesn't come my way. I'd really love to take my son in the castle, heck I wanna see it too!!!!

Pixie dust to all on getting their ADR!! And a side note, 88 days until all the Oct 1st Dis'ers arrive!

I am new to the thread but so far I am having a blast reading all the boards and all the great advice from past fellow DISNEYIANS -

This will be our first MNSSHP - DH & I have 3 DS's (ages 11,9 and will be 4 when we arrive) - We are so excited about this trip - we will be there October 8 - 14 (first night off the WORLD) Our MNSSHP tix are for Tuesday October 11. - With all the replies on the advice threads it may take me till we leave to read them all - :rotfl:

This site so rocks....... :disrocks:

I also tried this morning for crt-lunch but didn't get it. We also booked princess at epcot on 10/2 for lunch just in case. My plan is to try for 10/05 breakfast and keep calling for cancellations.

Jen,
Try again for Ohana. I got a 7:45 for 10/3 so they may have opened up some time slots. I did ask for 7:30 but it was full. I will send Pixie dust your way too :wizard:

Does anyone know when is best to sit at Ohana and get a window seat for Wishes? I am hoping 7:45 is not too late. Also does anyone know about what time spectromagic and wishes is on a Monday in Oct?

Thanks,
Angela in IL

10/1-10/9 ASMo

Kim,
It is so neat to hear that someone else is going to be in the same places as me. I am so excited. I will try to remember what you look like in your picture and if I see you I will say hello. We are a party of 3. My husband, myself, and our son. Are you from IL too? it seems like there are lots of midwesterners going at this time from the list and a lot are from IL.

Everyone else I am sending lots and lots of pixie dust to you all. Think positive and we will all get the ADR's we want. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

I love everyone posting their itinerary it gives me a good idea of how I should plan mine. Thanks for sharing them

sorry everyone not getting the lunch!! :guilty: I got mine at 2:45 so we will miss the parade because of this but like the UG said "be prepared to make tough choices." I will send pixie dust your way for all who will be calling! Keep on keeping on!! Kinda sucks, I know....it will all work out!! :wizard: :cheer2:

Jeepers!

Anyone else going to do Cindy's at lunch time instead of breakfast? Think I'll have to call at 7am too? Thought it might be a little less busy (right!) :rotfl2:

I am new to this. I am getting such great tips from all the different threads.

DH, DD7, DS5 & myself will be in Orlando from 10/21 - 10/29. We are staying at a vacation home off-site. We are planning 4 days at WDW, 1 night for MNSSHP, 1 day each at SW, IOA & US. I wish the calendar/times for all the parades and fireworks would post soon so I could finalize my plans.

I am so excited. After being on hold for 45 minutes yesterday and not finding the castle breakfast full my call went through right away this morning with no prompts to press answers for and I got first seating on 10/3 at 8:05 for the Cinderella castle breakfast and with the free dining plan how awsome. :Pinkbounc I really did not think I would be this excited but I really did not expect to be able to get through for a castle breakfast at all. Now reality has set in. Believe it or not this is for my 9 year old son who's birthday we are celebrating there. He is in love with Snow White and would be in heaven if she kisses his cheek. I hope everyone who tries gets the seating they want for the Castle breakfast.

Congrats!! :cheer2:

Welcome Walter!! :cheer2:

Right now what I'm using for a planning guide is the Unofficial Guide's Best Day/ historical time page - they have a calendar for emh (extra magical hour) and someone posted they thought Spectro has run on Saturday's and Mondays in the past :confused3 (somebody remind me if I'm wrong!) Also check your week's dates on the first page of this thread against the MNSSHP days - those days MK will close at 6 unless you purchase a ticket for the party.

Oh, btw...

I made my first DINING CALL Today :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

Just to practice!! Got in at 6:15, so our first night, we're booked for Ohana - 7:30 pm.. now just hope we'll get our seats by 8pm!! :rotfl:

Did anyone get the Cinderella's Castle Breakfast this morning. I am hoping every who wanted it got it. Today I booked 10/4 Primetime at noon and Alfredo's at 6:30 but I may cancel Alfredo's since we were not too thrilled with it 10 years ago. I am so afraid that with the dining package all the PS's will be booked before I make them. I am a worry wort. lol

My AR's are coming together. So far I've gotten all the ones I wanted including the princess lunch at Epcot on the 3rd and lunch at CRT on the 4th. Those were the big ones. The rest will not require the early morning phone call. Pixie dust to all planning their dining!
