Who's Going in October 2005??!!*MNSSHP dates & info*

I called a little bit ago. First time the lady shot me down , the second attempt my low battery on the phone began beeping while on hold so I had to hang up, then the 3rd time (on my cell now) I was bounced around a bit, because the one lady who was directing my call, directed it to the wrong place, until FINALLY I was connected to a wonderful person who took care of my tickets and spent 15-20 minutes talking to me making and answered all questions I had regarding my upcoming trip. :flower: We need more people like her! :flower:

On hold now...yes!!! Answering...
She's sooooooo nice! Didn't get her name, but she made it easy!

So, this is a 1st for my dd(8) and me. Does everyone dress up? Grown-ups, too? What about wearing costumes and doing rides - any problems? Advice?

Thanks everyone! This thread has been so helpful! :goodvibes

Hey, MommyBoo! Us, too!

We'll be at the GF for the first time!

Would love to say "hi" to a fellow DISer at LTT!

Woohoo! Got tickets for the 25th with LTT at 5:15!! We can't wait!

We are there on the 25th too at 5:30.

I just got my tickets for MNSSHP on Sept. 30. Got a wonderful CM named Bernadette. I told her I had an AP discount and she first said there wasn't one. When I told her it was posted on the internet as a discount day and told her the prices, she checked and said OK. Then, I got my LTT for 5:15. She origionally said that I couldn't make PS until July2, I told her again others had because it was a special event. She said, "Let me check" and then got me seats for 5:15! Yea!!!!!! I'm so glad she didn't have an attitude and say you just can't do that. Thanks everyne for your help.

Since that date is not offered which day will you go now. I wonder if Sunday or Thursday will be less crowded?

I'm in that boat. I don't know either. I asked Len Testa and he said that the best day is the day that the crowd level is lowest. Of course, that could always change. If that is the case...I guess Thursdays would be best day. That's probably when we'll go. Still have made my mind up. I don't like the idea of waiting till so close to the end of the trip to go.

Last Oct., we went to MNSSHP on our last nght in WDW, and we had a blast, however, we were pooped, and probably would've had an even better time, had we gone one of our first nights there. That's what we're doing this year. It was a great finale to a fantastic trip, but we were a little too tired to fully enjoy it.

We're going 10/23 - 10/30...staying at Polynesian (concierge)! Can't wait! We were there last October (10/17 - 10/24) and had a great time. Fall is a great time and so much less crowded!

We did MNSSHP last fall and we all had mixed feeling about it! It was VERY crowded. Our boys were too old to enjoy dressing up and trick-or-treating and were just looking forward to the rides without the long lines (because they tell you that it's not crowded and that they only sell a very limited number of tickets). But the lines were surprising long, until between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. when all the families with younger kids started leaving. The last hour or so was uncrowded and really nice.

The Halloween parade is great!!

From all the posts I've read, it seems that the LTT is going to be nothing but Disers eating on October 31. I'll be there at 5:30 with a party of 6...who else is going to be there? Just wondering!!!

Chris :disrocks:

We will be at MNSSHP on Oct 31 (my b-day). I see that alot of you have made your PS for LTT on that night. Sounds fun but my plan is to have a light day in the parks and rest and play at the pool at our resort for most of the afternoon then have dinner at a monarail resort and head over to the party. My planning is mostly due to the fact I have yound children (DS-5 and DD-4). What do you think of this plan. I guess I am wondering if I am missing out on LTT. :confused3. We are also planning on breakfast at Cindy's that morning.

Terri

Now that the 4th is not an option, how do we change it in the list? I am going on the 2nd instead. Thank you so much!!

Hi Terri,

We are doing the party on the 6th. I have 3 kids ages 9,6, & 4 so we plan to get up late that morning (which I never do at Disney!) have breakfast at the resort (POR) maybe do the pools & just take in the resort. I'd like to see if I get them all to lay down for an hour or so around 1-2. By then (hopefully) everyone will be able to make it to midnight so we can get the most out of the party. We are doing LTT at 5:30.

We did this a few years ago for the mvmcp & it worked out really well..have fun!

This is the first time my DH and I are going, and we don't have any children, but we are SO dressing up. From what I've heard, there is a good mix of people who do and don't dress up.

As far as costumes and rides, well, be smart about it ;) Don't wear a big hoop skirt and expect to fit into a Splash Mountain log! I'm going to be Cleopatra, and I've got an ankle-length, relatively loose (good for walking) beaded gown I got off of eBay that was just perfect for going around all the rides. The only thing I'm worried about is the wig/beadded headdress, so I'll have to go nuts with safety pins.

My husband, however, wants to be a Wraith (fron Stargate Atlantis), so he might end up too big for a shoulder strap (are there any in MK?)
