LOL! Wanna make it three grumpy husbands? We'll be there 11/5 - 11/11 staying at Port Orleans Riverside.

My husband is Eeyore - doom and gloom at every step. Wish he'd show just a tiny bit of excitement as the girls and I are bouncing around like Tigger!

Wow, I guess I'm the exception to the rule. I'm the Disney freak in the house and every one including my fiance "humors" me... Except I think the kids have her scared of my Disney "vacations". This is our first trip together.

We've requested Cabana 9B based on Buzz's site and info. I do like the look of the casitas at night though. It's really pretty.

My husband likes to unwind some nights at the hotel bar, maybe they will see each other there!

Your fiance does not realize how lucky she is! My husband thinks I am crazy with all the planning I do for our trip. I try to explain that planning is part of the fun but he does not get it. Maybe the countdown to disney signs all over the house starting at @200 days does me in!
(PS I am at 64 days!)

DH told me that I've ruined the trip for him with all my planning. Oh well. At least, I know that me and the boys will have a great trip due to everything I've learned here, TGM, and the books I've looked at.

S?D November 9-13!!!!!!!!!! We SO need this trip. We are driving down from NC wednesday afternoon and will arrive around 2am on Thursday. We're sharing a room with my sister who is there for a convention.

Ok, so my family's coming too, lol - but so far I am the only one who is so excited!


We'll be in Orlando on the 9th and at POP 11/11-18th; can't wait!

We will be there from Nov 26-Dec7. Hoping that it is warm enough to swim! Can't wait for MVMCP and to celebrate DS birthday.

My mom, me, my kid, Nov. 18th to 25th.

This is our third/fourth "major holiday/crowd crush" time to WDW in the last twelve months; we have now done the Christmas & New Year's blitz, [Easter weekend DS and I snuck down for Good Friday but it was just a day trip so it hardly counts], Memorial Day/beginning of summer vacation, and now Thanskgiving. Epcot had the Flower & Garden festival; MGM for Star Wars; the Osbourne Family light show; all seen & done now by us. Wow.

We bought AP's for Christmas so we've been making the most of them. This year has been our "Disney year." All together, we will have spent more than a month at the park in this twelve month period. Outstanding! And hard to believe that this next jaunt still includes things we didn't get done the last two times. Of course we WILL be redoing all the stuff we love as well! (EE makes the list by the way and I cannot wait to see the 'new' version of POTC.)

Two months to go! Yippee!

This is our belated anniversary trip. We are traveling with my in-laws who have never been to DW.

I am so excited to be taking someone who will be seeing it for the first time

What kinds of signs did you make? I was thinking of doing something with the boys this weekend. Occasionally, I will put notes in their lunch boxes and yesterday for the first time, I wrote "64 days until Disney World." Neither of them have said anything - I'm surprised.

I told DS11 that we're going to start doing some things on weekend to get ready for our trip - like mousekeeping envelopes, t-shirts. Any other ideas?

My son has a chalkboard painted in his room on the wall, and I have a countdown there, and I have a chalkboard in the kitchen where I have a countdown there also.
When we get to a@ 40 days or less, I make a chain and write things on it. Like "at disney world we will eat breakfast with the princesses", etc. THen I number each chain and we rip one off each night. Of course the closer we get the shorter the chain gets so the kids are very excited. I also put there favorite things to do closer to the end so they get very excited.
I also put notes in my DS lunch,but I have not put any with disney yet.

Hopefully he will get over the planning stuff, I know my husband gets annoyed with me, but he is also surprised with how much goes into a disney trip.

Our Gathering is going November 24th - December 1st. It is going to be interesting...

Myself, fiance, daughter, sister and nephew are flying down.
My dad, uncle, and 2 cousins are driving down. We are all staying in his camper and a tent on the site.

My Grandparents will be down there, thsy stay 6-8 months a year, as long as my grandfather is doing well.

There may be others joining the trip, but one never knows.
