Yes, I've taken a look and know that we'll be getting vouchers (character meals) and then "coupons" for dollar amounts - no change. I thought I'd do this because when I made my change from the original booking, I had already paid way more than what the new one would cost and it will take about six weeks or so to process the refund, apparently. I thought I'd add that on and at least that much will be paid for before hand. Even with that, I still have a balance coming back to me, so it's all good! I'll know better for next time, now that I have my longer term plans, rather than the "let's go once this year". We plan to make use of the APs (after we take advantage of the MM) this year, for sure, because we want to go to Florida next year ;)

Opposite reaction of my 3 year old after our December trip...I ran him and hubby into the ground, and the two of them shuddered to think of another trip until I promised to be much more Zen about it all. :)

They really say their refunds take that long? Wow.

All of you Canadians are really making me yearn to get back up to Vancouver (all I've seen of Canada, except for as a baby going to Victoria) and to start to travel beyond...sigh.

My dates are finalized..yeah! Priceline hotel offer accepted. 5/26-30

I usually go end of april or early may...Hoping it's not too crowded or too hot!
 

We will be there from the 9 to the 12th. We fly in late on the 8th. We are coming with another family. The mom has been a couple times, the last time with me in May 05, the dad and kids have never been. I'm so excited to show them around. We are staying at the CI again. It will be my 4th stay in a row there.
 
First timer here! (although I have been lurking for a bit:) )
I am so excited..our first family trip, is from May 13th to the 20th.
I am madly writing notes (and feeling a bit overwhemed at times
I think I am about to start an alphabitized list here, to jot down notes. Last time I went was in 2000 on my honeymoon with dh, and we didn't care at all what we did

10th and 11th for my aunt and me. We'll be staying at the Jolly Roger. I'm debating whether or not to celebrate my b-day on the 10th (my real b-day is on April 9th, so a month and a day late) because I probably won't be celebrating it at all near the actual day (school day with a job fair on campus [have to take advantage of it when I can because I'm graduating in May and don't already have a job lined up] plus I'm working the weekend after my bday, so no chance of celebrating then) but I don't want people to think that I'm taking advantage of the niceness of Disney.

Oh, celebrate it. That's all they care about anyway! When checking into PP in September the CM asked "are you celebrating anything during your stay?" Not "is it you b'day, anniversary, wedding", etc, but is it the celebration of something.

And really, at DLR, you get a button and lots of well wishes. Can't count on anything else like it seems you can almost do at WDW. :) So you're not taking advantage of anything (they hand buttons of all kinds out like they're candy, LOL). Celebrate!



mommyof2boys1girl...I never even thought to read Narnia right now. Hmm. Watch out, I might show up at your door asking for a few days in said spare "oom" someday... ;)

mAlien, I just noticed your no-smoking ticker. Nice! I never smoked but my mom did, from the age of 15 until she turned 35 and had a massive asthma attack in the middle of the night, and as a single parent that finally scared her enough to quit cold turkey that night (after many attempts). Hope you didn't have to have that sort of experience to quit, but quit you did! :)
