DH and I will be there Oct 15-23. We are empty nesters, so school schedule isn't a factor for us anymore. We chose these dates specifically for the Food and Wine Festival.
aside....although we have never met in person, there is a fellow DISer who lives just three blocks from me!

I am from South Plainfield and will be ther again this Sept. with DW and 2 boys 5 and 7. Dance in and out of the hurricanes last year and got the tail end of Jean.

I didn't do the quote thingy correctly, but as for the flights in September, YES!
Last year they were $188 (or less) to Orlando. That was a special deal of course but they may do it again this year. I don't think they announced it until the summer though.

I'm from Jackson. DH & I will be there April 26 - May 1 to watch the Jackson High School Band (our DS used to be in the band - graduated last year) march down Main Street. (wish they did this before he graduated ) We will also be there the end of October for our anniversary and the Food & Wine Festival.

They are scheduled to march on Tuesday April 26th before the 3pm Share a Dream Come True parade. They are a pretty good band so hopefully you will be able to see them.
