For those of you that have seen the new show "Goofy's Country Dancin' Jamboree " -- How long does the show last? Will bigger kids (10 or 11) enjoy it, or will they think it is for little kids?

it lasts about 1/2 hour...i'm thinking 10 or 11 is the oldest "little kid" that will enjoy it...after that, it would be parents watching their little kids...

Mickey2000-great pictures. In the one where everyone is standing, does this create a problem for younger children not being able to see? Nothing is worse than being in the back of a crowd when you can't see whats going on.

Guess what I just added to our to do list!:smooth:

I wonder if it'll be open during MNSSHP?

Do people line up very early for the show?

How would this attraction works for really young kids ( 1 1/2 - 2 years old)? I think DS would love the music, etc. but I don't want him to get trampled and/or not be able to see.

We attended this show last week. It started July 1st.
THere is seatnig on the 2nd floor overlooking the first floor
dance area. They only allow so many people in at a time.
You can sit on the outer floor area, but once the music starts and the characters appear they invite everyone out on the dance floor to Boot Scoot Boogie, Electric Slide, Coton Eye Joe and one other dance number. Everyone participating and watching seemed to enjoy it. It went so quickly. I think it is only 20 minutes long.

The shows are 20 minutes long and start at 11, 12, 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6.
There is limited capacity.
It's pretty loud, so 1-2 y/olds might not dig it too much... depends on the kid really, but this is more of an active experience. Kids who like to dance (more than the dancing at Playhouse Disney) would like it. They teach you the dances and the characters dance with you.
Have fun!

We did this yesterday (Friday) and were the first ones in for the noon show. We arrived about 10 mins til and there were no more than 50 people total when the show started. Our DD, age 6, loved this show. She was right up front dancing and loving all the character interaction. She was disappointed that Bullseye was not at this show - she was hunting him specificially. There were kids as young as 1-2 on the dance floor and all seemed to be having a great time. It's really cute and the air conditioning was great too - :)

Mickey 2000- Do you remember what time you saw the show? I'd hate to miss Bullseye! Thanks for the pics!

Hey Tiger Fan- just noticed that you're battling the beast. I'm a survivor too. Best wishes and prayers to you!

All characters are scheduled to be in all the shows. Bullseye must have been getting new horseshoes.
There's really no way to predict if a character will be missing, it doesn't happen often.

How I wish I would have known about this on our trip! We were at MK on July 3 and DD#2 loves Jessie, DS loves Woody, Bullseye etc. But I had no idea. Now we probably aren't doing the parks until 2005.

Does anybody know if the characters stick around for pictures and autographs after the show??

Thanks.

We saw the show on Friday also! I don't remember what time we saw the show but Bullseye was not there. Maybe he had a sick day on Friday?

It was ok but not great if you don't like country music. We went to see the characters.

You CANNOT get any autographs. They announce at the beginning of the show that if you want to get autographs, go to toontown after the show.

We were there on Friday too. We loved it. It was so much fun! My 21 month old had a ball. He danced with Woody the entire time. I highly recommend it. Here are some pics.
