I feel like I'm going crazy! I'm planning for a trip in May and I haven' t even been on 1st trip yet!(Dec 8-13)There are still 4 mos. to go! How do you keep your sanity? I think it's the thrill of catching great deals or the thrill of gaining new knowledge! Who knows?! But until Oct. I'm at a standstill with planning!Well have fun!

WE are leaving on our trip this Sunday, 8/26...I am already checking out things
for next years trip and that will also be in August...on this years trip we are going to
check out the possibilities for next years trip (AKL, WL, PO FQ) and when I get back
on 9/4 I am going to book next years room and then be on the hunt all year for steals
and deals!!!! Planning is definitely half the fun! :)

Im seriously considering doing this too. This Oct MIL, husband, 9yr son and I are staying at Wilderness Lodge for 6 nights. Ive managed to save over $1,200 for food, souveniers, 2 day trips, etc. And I paid off airfare and WL. All without taking out of the bank!!! Ive been thinking of scheduling next Oct at Port Orleans for son and I and anyone else who would like to come.

I AM!!

We are leaving in less then 36 hours for a "surprise trip" and planning an october trip with my mom.

We leave in 30 days! Staying at AKL and the Poly for 8 nights. Already thinking about our next trip even though it won't be until October of 2003. I think we will stay at Hard Rock Hotel by Universal for three nights as kids will be better age for Universal then. Then end with five nights at one of the Disney resorts. We will do some resort hopping this trip to decide which one to stay at that next time. Gotta always have a trip in the works so it's not so sad coming home!

Me, me, me!! We're not going until Jan. 2002, but I'm already planning our Nov. 2002 trip!! We haven't even decided for sure where we're staying for the Jan. trip (we're booked at ASMo for 2 nights, for the kids, and then 5 nights at PORS, but we want to change RS to Polynesian or Contemporary if we can get AP rates). But, DH is already talking about where to stay in Nov.-he wants WL, his favorite, so that's probably where we'll be!! When people ask if I have a hobby, I say yes, planning my trips to WDW!!

Me too! We are going for a long weekend 11/29 - 12/3-01 and then again for a week in February, 2002. My DH thinks I'm nuts (he isn't going on either trip -- just me, my DD, and my sister on one trip). I don't even talk with my friends about this because they are sure I'm over the top. Thank goodness for you guys!

We are leaving October 1 for our trip this year and I have already started looking into a trip for next year! I was thinking of late May/early June. But now with the great rates available I would love to take a quick 3 or 4 day trip in December to see the Christmas decorations! I have 2 unscheduled vacations days left at work. But I know my family would think I am nuts.

we're going after thanksgiving this year @ All Star Movies and last week I booked mid August at the Dolphin with an AP rate to celebrate our daughters first year of "big school" she just started 4k. now we have to plan around school calanders.

I've already taken my first trip, early August and you know what? I wasn't even a Disney fan before we went. I didn't love any of the characters or anything, just thought it would be a fun once in a lifetime trip for 8yr old ds and I. Hahaha i even thought that the people on these boards were obsessed.....well, I tell you ( though I'm sure you already know) once I saw Mickey and Goofy, I just fell in love! Mickey hugged me and it was all over. Now I can't stay away from these boards...I check them twice a day.....now my family thinks that I'M obsessed...these boards ruined me....

Just returned 8/11 and I'm ready to go back. My DH thinks I'm nuts. We got such a great deal and I keep thinkign of the things I missed. Planning on a trip early June 2002 if I can
wait that long. My sister lives in Winterhaven so I may just have to pay her a surprise visit. I would love to see the Christmas decorations..................

I am the "nutty Disney girl" in our family. We are heading down to Disney next month, but I'm also currently planning a trip for February (working on itinerary) and have ANOTHER trip planned for Sept. 2002 (haven't decided on a hotel yet for this one - BW or BC or YC). It's confusing, but it's SO MUCH FUN !! :) My Disney obsession has gotten to the point where I don't even want to tell friends where we're going anymore!

I have been planning 3 vacations since January! We just got back from WDW for 4 days this last Sunday- we are leaving for our 7 night cruise on the Magic on Aug 31(cruising on Sept !) and then have another 5 day WDW trip in Oct! I might as well get the $$$ out of those passes! To tell you the truth- I am ready to plan something else since one of the trips is already gone:mad: :bounce: :bounce:

I just like staying ahead of the game, this year I was able to pay off entire trip
including some meals (food vouchers, gift certificates from awards programs)
before we leave and I plan on the same thing for next year, I will make our 1st deposit
as soon as we get back from WDW THIS year, and then be on the lookout for codes,
airfare sales etc....plus I already started hitting my rewards programs again for next
year....its nice to go when you are all paid in advance, now we can really have some
fun with no worries!

Let's see....We have already been on three trips this year to Disney in March, May, and August. I have ressies and PS's for November and am currently researching a trip for December. My coworker now thinks I am certifiable to even think of going on five trips in one year. If I hear about THE MONEY ONE MORE TIME from her!!!! Arrrgh. My children will only be small for a very short time. If I have the money we will go as many times as we want to. I never want to look back at their childhood and say. If we had only, or I wish we would have, or it would have been nice to. You never know whats around the corner so we have fun NOW!
