We'll be there from 9/7-9/14. The week after labor day is our favorite week of all the year. There is no one there.

Yes, we were there on 9/11 too, we had just flown in the day before and we were one of the first planes to fly out of Orlando the following week. (Every rental car in the state was gone and the train was full).

But we didn't mind; we thought it was the best place on the planet to be that day and that week because of the wonderful diversity of all the people from all over the world who were huddled together, offering sympathy and support to one another.

as you know, lisa, you are not alone!!! i, too, am a disneyholic... saw hidden mickeys in target tonight

i am absolutely soooo excited, it's a wonder i can hold a conversation regarding anything else... i told dh i am not sure i can go to church tomorrow 'cause i just cannot concentrate! or, maybe, i will see hidden mickeys in the altar? ;o)

OK, so what are all the September vacationers going to do now?? We are supposed to fly out on NWA on Thursday. I guess we will wait and see if they call and tell us we cannot go. What are everybody else's plans to salvage their vacation??

We are supposed to fly out on wed. Hopefully everything will be back to normal by then.

We also have reservations at Coronado Springs. DH has a Christian Counseling Workshop.....we are waiting to hear if it will be cancelled. Tuesday should be a tell-all day for us, I think.

We have rescheduled our trip, thanks to Frances. We will now be heading down to POR on 9/23- 9/26.

Our trip is still fine, BUT Ivan's path cone shows him in FL in 1 week. Everyone, please pray.....

We are rescheduling for the Thanksgiving holidays...not taking in more chances w/Ivan,,,

So bummed out...we are driving so I don't think it's a good idea..

Well, we are still scheduled to arrive on the 11th to stay at the Dolphin through the 19th. We are hoping that Ivan takes a right turn.

It is also our hope that Ivan makes a hard turn and goes away.....hopefully somewhere the does not cause damage but that may be too much to hope for!

We have decided to continue with our plans this week if it is safe to do so. We live in a resort area, also, and when we had fires last summer and alot of people stayed away, our service-related community really felt it.

Mtblujeans - That's exactly what I said to DH this morning! I think it would be better to go and spend our money at WDW. Keeping away won't help the economy down there.

We are suppose to arrive on the 18th. I'm a liitle worried about Ivan but, have hope that this storm will not make landfall in Florida.

We were supposed to go for our 5 year anniversary from the 10th to the 18th (anniversary is 9/11 Ugh.).

With Ivan's projected path, and this being my DD's first trip (10 mo. old), we decided to postponse for one week.

So, we're now going from the 17th to the 25, and had to move to over to Old Key West, (which isn't bad, but we really wanted BWV).

Oh I can't take much more of the wait!! We were supposed to have been there 9/10/04 - 9/18/04 but had to postpone until 9/24/04.

The clock is ticking, but it's not ticking fast enough!!
