Some of you may know that I had planned NO trips to dlp this year as we are saving like mad for a Florida trip sometime in 2008, but I am so suffering from Disney withdrawal symptoms and have some very sad looking neglected annual passes sitting in a box. So much so that this morning I was very naughty and impulsive and booked some Easyjet flights to Paris for July 17th!!!!! 4 days in Disneyland Paris ....yee ha!!! (and I'm doing to try and keep it a surprise for the kids - be a great treat for DDs 1 & 2 after they finish their GCSEs !!!!!!!!!!!)
Just need to sort out accomodation now, and as there are 6 of us I am trying to get an apartement or similar...looking at a private one in magny which looks great, or the Citéa Résidentiel Marne La Vallée

Woo hoo!!! Great news Sarah! :dance3:

Just answered this on UKCB too, I'm not stalking you, honestly! :lmao: :lmao:

That'll be an awesome surprise, wish Taryn luck with her exams.

Wow what great news and it will be a super surprise for your DD's after all their hard work.

Sorry for duplicating my post...but I am so excited I need to tell the whole world:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I am dying to try Crush's Coaster, it sounds amazing!

Steve - I couldn't let you book a trip without following in your footsteps. Pity you're not going in July again though!

Denise would agree that it's a pity - our summer holiday is limited to visiting family in Devon...or does that come under chores?

That was a fun evening last year...

How exciting! What a great surprise! :thumbsup2 And knowing that there will be so many new things to see and do is even more exciting! Hope it won`t be too hard to keep the secret to yourself!;)

Great news. No wonder you are excited.

Hope you can keep it as a surprise :goodvibes

That sounds like a really great surprise! I wish somebody would book trips to DLRP for me as a post exam treat :thumbsup2 .

Congrats! not too long to July now, I have to wait until December

We are going to make out like we are going camping - and then end up at Liverpool Airport - we are going to try and cover up the suitcases and make them look like the tent bag and equipment under a sheet or something. It might work. We are not planning on telling them until we get to the airport!

We are hoping to rent a townhouse which looks and sounds really lovely:

Only 10 mins on the bus from the parks but very close to a French village so we can experience the real France - fresh croissants for breakfast! I like the idea of spending one evening in the local village, although I'm sure the lure of the parks will be too much to resist.

I have now booked my July accomodation from the private owner, and it turns out it is in the Citea Residentiel village anyway. We have booked 5 nights, which gives us 4 fantastic days in the parks! And it has worked out at less than £130 per person for flights and accomodation, which is so reasonable! I am now really excited!
