I am so so happy to hear this! We couldn't get down to DL last year and I was super disappointed I had to miss this after reading such positive reviews

I must admit I am of the opposite opinion. I wish this would go away and return the park back to what it was. Just more drunks to deal with, not just in that area.

I'm with Jack, but the issue isn't the drinking. I haven't run into that issue, fortunately. I just don' care for the overall feel of it. IMO it doesn't mesh well with the park, especially the new theme they are working toward and it is WAY TOO LOUD. KWIM? Sorry for yelling over the noise.

This is relally upsetting to me. Ugh. I cannot stand ElecTRONica and I don't get why they are extending it. The movie is out, yada yada yada. Give us back Hollywood Pictures Backlot without the icky scaffolding, horrible loud music and alcohol. Boo, Disney. Boo.

Electronica is awesome! Its a great event for young people, and if you don't like it, there's a ton of other park to enjoy! Way better than Summer Nightastic. Didn't see a lot of drunks the times I went just lots of kids dancing and having fun. Its all the good parts of a rave with none of the overcrowding/illicitness/negative.
I just hope they hold it open until our October trip. We were there for opening weekend of it, so with any luck they'll keep it for a full year ...

I think many people feel that you can have a great time with out the alcohol. I loved being in that area at night and enjoying the park. Now if they had ZZtop, Iron Maiden or Metallica I may show up.

Disney just does not need the booze(ex drinker) for people to have a good time and it does not really set forth a good example for the younger set.

[FONT=Arial, sans-serif]I agree with you it's great for young people there is no negative factors about it really,electronica is popular on friday's-sunday's and I am sure that Disney feels that since it's doing so good that keeping it around will be a bonus to the park attendance(at least I am sure they hope). People disagree with the drinking,but I have yet to experience a park guest that got out of hand, it seems that those that are of age to drink handle it well and don't take advantage, and all I have seen is just people having fun. I think the music is great but of course I like house music, I love Daft Punk. Laser Man is a cool show, and right now the light cycle is on display and it's pretty impressive. AND i am very glad they are keeping it and taaren, i hope you do get to see it ..

Guys, what exactly is Electronica? My daughter and I are going to DL for our 1st trip in June and spending 8 days - planning on taking in everything we can. This may be our only chance to visit DL and DCA and don't want to miss a thing! Is this an open concert/dance?
