Hi! My DH and DS1 are going to WDW in October. My DS has to drink whole milk and I was just wondering if it is readily available at restaurants and snack places? Thank you so much for your help!

I don't know for sure how readily it is available, but I know I have had it offered. Sorry I can't remember where.
If this is really important to you, you may want to order some groceries from Gardengrocer.com. The will deliver it to your hotel for $12.00, and their prices are higher than home, but better than anywhere in WDW.

We have seen whole, 2% and chocolate milk at almost every CS place we have been to

I would call and ask if it is something that he will need often so you can make sure. If he can drink 2% but you prefer that he have whole I think you can find it most places but maybe not all. I know when my kids were small they could drink 2% but b/c of underweight issues we preferred for them to drink whole but some places we had to settle and it wasn't a problem for us. I know milk isn't something that you can just carry around with you even if order it from the grocery. My kids also drunk the canned pedisure so that was something I could put in the bag in place of their milk while we were at Disney or on trips.

Yes - I've seen whole available at the resorts snack bar/ quick service restaurants.

i'm so used to drinking fat free milk at home, that when i go to disney and ask for whole milk with my meals, it reminds me of cream!

Thanks everyone! I also checked some of the menus on allears.net and it looks like it is available at least at most of the counter service restaurants. I'm a new mom and I'm so nervous about this trip and what he will eat, etc. I just want to make sure I'm prepared and my little guy doesn't go hungry.

Most places will serve it- the only places that are harder to find it are in the parks. I know at Magic Kingdom Casey's sells it. Are you sticking to the whole because of the age or becasue of special dietary issues? If it is the age thing- honestly do your best to find it but 2 percent here and there won't kill him. I also know I was able to buy larger sized containers at the resorts.

The resort gift shops sell milk at half the price of the resort food courts!!! And yes, whole milk is available everywhere. You can ask for it at TS meals.

1% is what is served automatically with the kid's meals, but whole milk is available everywhere in WDW - just make sure you request it.
