How's the traffic to get to Whole Foods from WDW? How long does it typically take to get there? We're staying at AoA, but who knows if we'll be going there from our hotel or from a park. Is this a pretty good store? Do they have a decent buffet?

With the kids' food allergies, I expect we'll be going there a couple times during our trip. It will just be easier to stick with familiar products. At home, we frequently eat lunch or dinner there. Our local WF is huge, but I've been to a few others that are much much smaller. I'm just wondering how easy the Orlando Whole Foods will be for us to visit.

Thanks!

It's off of I-4 so that highway sometimes can be crazy. (it can be avoided if you want). Probably 10-15 minutes from the Beach Club. We usually will take I-4 and then get off at the SeaWorld exit and continue East on Turkey Lake Road just to avoid the crazy intersection of I-4 and Sand Lake Road.

From DTD take Hotel Plaza to 535 make a left onto 535. First right(Palm Parkway). Palm Parkway turns into Turkey Lake-Whole Foods is just past Walmart on the right(before Sand lake). About 15 minutes(depending on traffic).

Thanks so much for the replies! I really appreciate the info. As we get closer to our trip, these little details help a lot with planning. :goodvibes

The store is decent, but it's not that big. I don't think their food bar is particularly huge, the one near us at home has a bigger selection. But it's nice being able to buy the stuff we want for our stay. We go there every trip.

I'd call it small-medium sized in comparison to the newer stores which feature loads of meals and are almost food-court-like in offerings. There is a little bar inside, which cracks me up, just sitting in the middle of the store with several beers on tap. We don't eat a meal there but we do pick up some staples to stash in our room fridge to help us through the week. Yogurt, eggs, bread, pre-cooked chicken tenders, etc. It took us 20 minutes to get there from WL the night we went, with traffic.
