At an airport about an hour from Glendale a strange sight was seen in the sky. I don't think it's confirmed, but the rumor is that it's Disney testing the creature. The lady who took the pictures posted them on her Facebook page, saying "Just another day at the airport. ...... Maybe for Avatar?

Wow! Cool!

I don't know if I could handle a "ride" that took me that high, though. :lmao:

Saw this in the local paper. Shafter is actually about 120 miles north of Glendale. It's a small town with a population of under 20,000. It is only about 20 minutes from where I live. Wish I knew exactly when the dragon is flying...I would drive there to see it!

I think this article and photos may help generate some Avatar excitement. I, for one, think this looks like amazing technology and would be very exciting as part of Avatarland.

I love it and the fact that it breathes fire. How cool will that look just about sundown!

Personally I can't wait for Avatar land. I just hope that it has a lot of beautiful glowing foliage plants and creatures. I think a walk through it at night would be an "e" ticket attraction. This is an opportunity for Disney to interject some high tech stuff. (Thinking about the new lights on Cinderella's castle.)

How cool is that! This was not my favorite movie but I love Disney so have to see it!
