We do the best we can. :) And we have awesome listeners, and some of them join us in chat, which is always fun. We often meet up together, so we really are friends outside the podcast show. :hyper2: In addition to the show you'll often see posts on Facebook from the team, tweets from us when we're in the parks, plus Michael will post insights on Instagram, and I will Periscope from the park or areas from the Day 6 segments.

Thanks for posting this - interesting to see where you all are at. Considering you are doing it remote I think you do a great job of not talking over each other, etc. and keeping things smooth. Having been on a business conference call or 5,000 it is not easy!

Now to reveal my self serving reason for making this. It was not meant as some popularity contest, but rather revisiting an old idea I posted months ago.

With the Dis 10 year anniversary coming up I wanted to see how many people would want to 'rent a podcast member' for a few hours. Something as simple as getting a tour of Main Street or a group lunch. I know they did have the private lunch after the Star Wars event. Obviously this would be a GKTW event. Seeing as how evenly the vote is this could easily raise $1000-$2500 for an afternoon when you add in Jackie and Steve. A group of 6 agree to rent Craig to walk the World showcase would get $300.

I am clearly in no position to start volunteering the Team to try this, but $50 per person in a group of 6-8 people would be cheap, and each group gets one Pod Star as a host. That's $2400 in less than 4 hours. Then perhaps $200 per person to dine with a Star, figuring a $50 character buffet/AYCTE. Even if it's only 4 guests and the host at lunch it would net $600 per group, that could be $7200. Who wouldn't pay $200 to eat with Kevin at LTT?

My numbers are rough, but this could add up to four families getting to go to GKTW. Grass roots people.

Lot of bad joke potential in this. But also a lot of give kids the world money making potential in this. Podcast team should consider it.

Just looking at the updated podcaster vote tally tonight & Craig is definitely kicking it . . . leading the pack by a decent margin. Yaay for Craig! Who'd have thunk the shy lad from a few yrs ago would be the most popular "date" (for lack of a better word) in this kind of popularity contest? Kudos for Craig! I think its definitely his hardworking drive (particularly this past yr with all of the extra work and stress he has carried - most appreciated by the Boards), sly sense of humour and headliner duties on the Universal Podcast that is winning over the crowds. The man is a tour de force! And I didn't even vote for him! So there you go :worship:

I have never been to DL maybe one day. I like to listen to the show but they do not seem congealed like the WDW group. I think they are not all toghter in a studio so they seem to tak over each out her and the sound level and quality are not consistent. It's like being on a conference call at work when your multitasking yourself.
They are in different points across California, and sometimes talking over Skype there are delays (I'm sure we've all experienced that at times). But I love how much that, despite the distance, they all are good friends (they seem to be anyway! ;)) and they all get to the parks quite a bit. I love the camaraderie they all have! It really makes the show quite a lot of fun to listen to!

This is great...!!
I feel like we know what the WDW team looks like, but up until now I've only wondered about the CA team. That is with the exception of Michael who has made many trips to the "DIS Vatican"....

This was a tough one!! I chose Kathy and Ryno. Kathy for her thoughtful perspective and attention to detail. Ryno for his enthusiasm (plus we are both from MA:-)).

When the DIS-Disneyland episodes reach the "blue hour" watch out!

I just realized I live about an hour from Michael. I had a sneaking suspicion he was up my way.

Just sayin' ;)

I personally love the Disneyland show and everything the team offers up each week. I started listening in preparation for our trip to California, but I still find myself listening now that our trip is over...and we're not planning on returning to CA anytime soon (in favor of trying some new things). :)

SPINOFF POLL: Each podcast team member should vote for the poster they'd least like to spend a day in the parks with.
