The buffering was my concern (I don't have Netflix). I think this fight was scheduled for 8 rounds? That's more of an exhibition than a fight. I remember when championship fights were 15 rounds and then that got reduced to 12.

Regardless, I was hoping the streaming wouldn't be an issue as I grew up watching many PPV and HBO boxing events; they became parties for my friends and family.

Boxing has always struck me as a rather bizarre sport where the object is to inflict brain damage on your opponent. Never watched and have ZERO interest. Assume it is on one of those pricey pay per view channels?

I agree. You'd think that with the immense warranted concern about concussions, and both their short and long term damage, that a 'sport' where the object of the sport is to give your opponent a concussion, would be discontinued.

That’s what I did, and it worked.

However, in hindsight I should’ve just taken it as a sign to stay off.

But really, what did I expect when you have a 27 year old fighting a man over twice his age?

Paul brothers just aren’t my thing, which is no surprise giving their shtick isn’t geared for my age. The stupid yellow spray can and million dollar diamond encrusted boxing shoes and shorts? I can’t even .

What a waste of money, those shorts and shoes..... geez. Was a sad fight. But watched the Taylor Serrano fight which was really good but disagreed with the decision on the winner, like most people.

UFC has pretty much taken the spotlight and interest away from boxing.
A staged match like this didn't help the sport.
