Who will change their dates if Free Dining is offered in the Fall?

We are booked September 8-16th. This is our third time going and always in September. I'd love to go in December to see the world decorated for Christmas and to enjoy milder temperatures. We will likely switch our dates to December if free dining is offered as our schedules are flexible and our airfare is booked through Southwest.

Only problem - our balance is due July 25th and free dining, if offered to the general public, may not be released by then. Guess we'd just have to suck it up and go three months sooner, lol!

Anyone else thinking of making a switch?

Yep, we're booked now for Sept. 15 and I'll switch to Oct. 20 in a heartbeat, just because I dread the heat and humidity of Sept. But, like the OP said, if FD isn't offered by the time I have to make my last payment or if airfares get reasonable before then, looks like we'll learn to love September.

You can still change your dates after you pay off your trip. Your package price would likely go up because of the seasonal rates, so they would probably waive the change fee. I don't think the next release will happen that late anyway. Good luck! :goodvibes

Keep calling Disney and check to see if there is a pin attached to your name. I've called 4 times and today I got lucky. We are checking in Oct. 20 and we now have free dining. :yay:

I hope you're right on all accounts! That would be awesome!!

Smitch is correct you can make changes after the 45 day and the Change fee of $50 more than likely will be offset by the savings with FD so well worth switching your dates rather than go during the sweltering days of September.
