Who wears matching shirts?

We're a family of 7 and we wear them everyday :) We have Airbrushed shirts, tie dyes and Zazzle shirts....makes packing so much easier, and packing up to come back home. Plus pictures turn out really cute, we get lots of compliments and it's so much easier to keep up with everyone LOL That's us in our MGM TieDye's in my signature picture...although the boys were a little big, so we redid those smaller this year :)

I used to put my 4 kids in matching shirts (not me & DH)....it's soooo much easier to keep track of them!:cool1: My older two probably won't agree to do it this year though , and that's ok with me. As long as DS11 wears a bright color (like red, orange, etc....he has autism and tends to wander off sometimes ) DD14 is easier to look after, so she can wear what she wants.
One day, my DS5 & DS8 pland to wear their matching Phineas & Ferb shirts and another day one will wear his Phineas tee and the other his Ferb tee (they are P&F fanatics!)

:rolleyes1

yep..............have had 'em ready to go for about 2 months now...........:upsidedow

I put my girls in the same color (though not usually identical) shirts whenever we go anywhere with large crowds (zoo, amusement parks, county fairs). It makes it so much easier to spot everyone...especially if we were to become separated. The added bonus...scrapbooking is so much easier when the outfits are coordinated!

This past Christmas all of our kids and their families were at WDW. We had purchased white polo Mickey shirts to wear for dinner at Citrico's. After dinner, we had pictures taken by a photopass photographer around the GF Christmas tree and Gingerbread Shop. We got a number of compliments about it.

This past June while at DLR, my wife and I purchased several identical T-Shirts to wear in the parks while there. It was fun.

We are wearing matching shirts our first day at disney at MK . Me and dd are also wearing matching white shorts...lol

the rest of our trip we have disney character shirts we will wear each day, but only a few are matching. hard to find matching shirts for 4 girls and 1 boy.

We are a family of 3, DH, Me and DS. I have us wearing matching outfits normally on DH's bday, Oct 3rd. I buy the Disney matching outfits which includes the dress for me, polo for DS and Hawaiian style shirt for DH. I get one for us every year and then we bring them all the following years. It really is cute and we get ton of compliments. It is really fun when you see another family in the same outfit as you on the same day. DS and DH go along with it because it makes me happy; and we all know if the mama aint happy aint nobody happy :)

6 weeks to go
:dance3:

We made these shirts to wear to MK on our first day...we LOVED being able to spot one another from a distance!

We have also had a ball with it - the older teens sometimes pitch a tiny fit - but i really dont think they mind = once the rest of us were already in line for something, and they came up late - well, people noticed their shirts and automatically told them to pass up through the line to get with the rest of us - they saw the benefit then!!!!!:rotfl2:

I just think its fun!!!

We wear them everyday. DH DS4 DS6m and me. Makes it so easy not to worry about what should I wear?

I made 2 different designs for our trip last year, we also received mutiple compliments, besides it makes it easier for people to tell who goes with who, especially if a little one should wander off.

There are pics below in our trip thread on the first page, I'm having brain drain and can't figure out how to post them just now!

Each trip I make us matching outfits: DH & DS shirts & me a dress or shirt. It is always some sort of Disney print. We get lots of compliments.

One year a gentleman asked DH where he bought his shirt...he wanted one. DH explained that I had made it. The gentleman argued w/ DH b/c he saw a woman (me) with the same shirt. DH had to explain that I was his wife. :lmao:

I would LOVE to do that. I think it is so cute and great for pictures, but there is absolutely no way my DD16 and my DS13 would ever go along with it and it wouldn't look the same with just DH, DD6 and me matching. Oh well. I will walk around and look envious of all of you cute matching families.

Lisa

Weve been doing matching shirts...the girls match some days and the boys do ---for example, we went to breakfast @ MK yesterday and all the girls wore Tink shirts in green--boys wore Goofy T's and adult men wore Grumpy...We got a lot of compliments.

I see you get here in 3 days--Just in time for the sun. Have a great trip!

Yes we are that Dorky family that matches on vacation!!!!:rotfl2:

We do everyday of our trip!!! The first year only one day, the second a few days, this year we are doing it everyday! DH likes it just as much as I do, his friends bust on him bad for it at home! He really gets busted on when he wears his Mickey Tye Dye to the FireHouse, and what could be better than a man in his fire gear, a man in fire gear and a Mickey tye dye underneith!;)

We leave tonight and last night I also shaved a mickey into his hair, he shaves his whole head so I put a mickey design on his head and shaved around it......lets just say he put on a hat for work today! My dd7 dared him to do it, she is going to be so surprised when she sees it this afternoon when he gets home. We love the getting into the Disney magic as a family and the shirts just make it just a bit more magical for us:)

We've never done the matching shirt thing before on vacation, but then again we haven't been anywhere as a family that would lend itself to doing it. I still can't believe it, but when I mentioned making shirts for our crew to wear to my DH for our trip in May, he was all for it! (Though I think that he is secretly thankful that I have something to put my energy into instead of bugging him about plans. :rotfl2: )

We're having a Grand Gathering, and I'm making everyone shirts as a surprise and putting them in gift baskets for our trip. I can't wait! The best part is that it really does give me something to do while waiting for the elusive month of May. :rotfl:

Now...if I could only convince them all to wear mouse ears...hmmm... :lmao:

A large group in matching shirts looks pretty cool. I see in the blue shirts there are figures with mickey hats. Please tell me where i can find those-thanks in advance

We love wearing matching shirts! The kids don't know any different since we've been doing it since our first trip. We get tons of attention and the pictures turn out so cute! I would NEVER do this anywhere besides Disney - brings out the dork in me I guess.

LOL at the person putting a Mickey on dh's head! I just told my dh about it and he said okay but only right before we leave :) I am not going to do it but thought it was hilarious!
