there are 6 of us in the party, kids from 2 years to 18 and two adults,
All but eldest child is gonna wear matching hawiian shirts, are we daft or just plain silly?

Not every day though, LOL

Our entire group wears matching shirts on our first FULL day at WDW. We get tons of compliments. We have our children wear matching shirts everyday that way it's easier to count heads to make sure no one is left behind.

I've dressed my kids in matching shirts and outfits - you'll see LOTS of families do that! It's cute, and a great way to keep an eye on your group.

I would LOVE to do that. I think it is so cute and great for pictures, but there is absolutely no way my DD16 and my DS13 would ever go along with it and it wouldn't look the same with just DH, DD6 and me matching. Oh well. I will walk around and look envious of all of you cute matching families.

I wish we could do it every day we are there. That would be too much extra money though. My boys will have 4 matching outfits for this trip. DH and I will match with them only 2 of the days.

I think it's totally dorky, lol. But I can't stand conformity. It's why I hate peas...they all look the same.

I totally get why some moms do it, though - it does make it easier to keep your pack together.

We wore matching shirts when we were in Disney. People commented on the shirts in a positive way. If my family got separated from each other in line, people would step back and encourage the left behind one to catch up with the family without being asked too.

We had a grand gathering a few years ago (13 of us). I made matching shirts as a surprise. I got the bright orange shirts with the disney logo on the front (they were like 4$ each). Then I did iron on transfers on the back with each persons name, favorite character and the date. Everyone loved them. We actually wore them twice and got noticed a lot:thumbsup2

I love doing matching shirts. My ds (14) refuses. On the Dis igns forum, there is a shirt that says "Idon't do matching shirts" with Grumpy on it. If we don't do matching, we try to do coordinating.

I would love for all of us to wear matching shirts once or twice...but I can't see being able to talk my husband into it. :scratchin

We wear matching shirts at least 2 days of our vacation. It's easy to spot everyone in the group. The photopass people stopped us a couple of times and asked if they could snap pics of the entire group.

I got alot of designs from the DISigns board and made matching shirts for us for every day of our trip back in June. It made it alot easier to keep up with everybody and we got lots of compliments!

We do a bit of both, wearing matching shirts and cordinating. Last year there were 6 of us (Me, DH, DD9 then, DD2then, DM & BFF) and we had t-shirts from Zazzle made with our fave Disney character on it with our names under the pic and on the backs of my girls they had a 1 & 2 on them showing birth order. This year(same cast except grandma stayed home) we did Hannah Montana shirts, well all but my husband who said "no" but we convinced him to do the Jonas bros. We're a young couple (30 & 31) so he will still go along with silly things.

I'll have to think of what we'll do for next year.

I'll be starting the Tye-Dye Mickey T-shirts tonight. I'm making one for my niece and myself.

My neighbour (we are going to WDW together) is making T-shirts for her family. She didn't think her husband would go for it-he wants the full Disney experience.

I would totally do it, but my husband wont even waer a Mickey shirt. He loves Disney, but wont wear the logos. Bummer. :confused3

When we went we had matching shirts every day except for MK day, lthough we all had pink that day. Walmart has a lot of cute Disney tops, that's where we got ours!

We do matching shirts our first day of vacation (not arrival).
The rest of the week, we wear Disney themed shirts but they're all different.

This year, I got half of our shirts from the Disney Store's $3.99 sale.
$3.99 for child AND adult shirts!!

I got us each 4 shirts with different characters on them and I'll make us each a few personalized shirts with designs I got from the DISign board.

My dh is ok with wearing the matching shirts for the first day but really just does it for me and the kids. He'd rather not so, I take it easy on him. For our matching shirt, I stick with Mickey. His other shirts feature Grumpy or Donald and are definitely geared for the men.

The shirts I'm making for him feature Mickey Mouse as a Dallas Cowboy, Mickey as an OSU Buckeye and Mickey as a Cincinnati Reds player.

For the kids and I, we go full blown Disney tourist and love it! :goodvibes

I always hated wearing matching shirts when we would go. Just wear a Disney shirt and call it a day.

I used to hate them, but now, I have my kids match (boys 18 mos apart) most days because it makes life eaiser. We plan on matching the boys each day we are in the park, and my Dh and I would like to match them too, but we may just coordinate colors! I like being able to look and know who belongs in our group. Plus pictures are so much better when everyone is wearing similar colors!

My DH's cousin got lost in Disney as a tween because he followed the wrong tshirt! He thought it was his uncle, but it wasn't!
