my DD's future puppy? See my DD whos had lots of trouble with her Lupus lately just had an awsome thing happen. She put a deposit down on this Newfoundland puppy while still not born. We got a call with awful news that the vet did a ultrasound after the mommy dog being in labor 4 days and said all puppys were dead. 6 hrs. latter we got a call from the breeder and she said 2 puppys were born ALIVE!! DD's black female and the breeders siler male!!So DD is looking for any name that means miracle/wonder /bleeing etc. and hopefully ends ine,i y you know and easy call dog name. Any sugestions verry much appreciated. We pick up are new family member 6/11. She weighed in at only 1.5Lbs but is long from your wrist to elbow!! After DD spending time in hospital this week i thank God for the great outcome!!!!

Couple of thoughts:

In Spanish--Miracle is Milagro, you could shorten that to Millie, and it would be very cute.

I am currently in LOVE with the name Aisling (it's Irish/Gaelic, pronounced Ahshleeng) and means dream or vision

Those are two that immediately spring to mind.

I really like Deb's suggestion of Aisling too. Of course you would need to practice yelling it over and over at the top of your lungs, lol. We once named a golden Lauth after the golden in the book "The Incredible Journey". That was not a good yelling name, lol.

We just got off the phone with the breeder and she said shes allready growing. But her ears are only 1/4 inch and when she breaths they go up an down like Dumbo and yes Dumbo DD said no way to. If anyone wants to see the mom and dad dog they can go to

I stink at naming pets. I always come up with about 100 different names and then end up drawing one out of a hat.

So, I have no names to offer you but I did visit the site and those are beautiful dogs!

She could always name it Lisa and think of her dear old mom whenever she sees it.
