Who: Me, my Mom, my Sister, and my DD (2 1/2)
When: February 6-13th
Where: Wilderness Lodge

Sunday - towncar from MCO, check into WL around 4:00pm, settle in, ride the monorails, maybe get some tropical drinks and watch Wishes from the Poly beach

Monday - MGM all day, dinner at Mama Melrose with the Fantasmic Package, 7:00 Fantasmic

Tuesday - MK in the morning, breakfast at Cinderella's...Epcot in the evening with Illuminations at 9:00

Wednesday - no specific plans...Fort Wilderness petting farm and pony rides?, surrey bikes?, sea raycers?, Downtown Disney?, campfire with Chip and Dale?...whatever we feel like

Thursday - AK in the morning, breakfast at Donald's Breakfastosaurus...MK in the evening for SpectroMagic at 7:00 and Wishes at 8:00

Friday - Epcot in the morning/afternoon...evening open for whatever we want to see or do again, or in case we missed one of the fireworks before we can catch them tonight

Saturday - no specific daytime plans (see Wednesday)...Fort Wilderness Carriage Ride at 6:00, followed by the Hoop De Doo Review at 7:15

Sunday - MK in the morning, breakfast at Crystal Palace...meeting our towncar at 4:00 to take us to MCO for our flight home

That's it. I based it on January's hours, that's why I have Spectro on Thursday. IF they should put it back to it's "normal" Tuesday night, I can just switch those two nights.

We have "room" for a break if we need it on all days except Monday. DD doesn't really nap anymore, maybe a 1/2 hour or so when needed, and she will sleep in her stroller. I'm sure she'll want to swim though, if/when the days are warm enough, so I tried to allow time every afternoon, because at that time of year we just don't know which days will be swimming weather.

Any suggestions? Anything I'm missing? TIA

We will be at WL from 2/6 to 2/10 and then be switch resorts. I will look for lime green!!!

Enjoy your trip, I hope it goes well. I took an all girls trip in 2003 -- Me, my Mom, and two daughters 11 and 15 then. NEVER AGAIN. My Mother was a pain. I was ready to ship her home on the first day.

:teeth: Yes, I'm worried about that as well, lol. I love my mom of course, but she can be a pain. I'm determined that we're all going to have a good time. If my mom isn't having a good time, I'm going to ignore her and pretend that she is! ;)

Definitely look for us! DD will have a blue stroller with lime green ribbons tied on!

We are going at the beginning of February too and I have two little girls. When are the Cinderella breakfasts and how do you book them TIA

We have so much in common!! I'll be there in Feb and am very nervous about travelling with my mom also!! She's had several heath setbacks and actually thinks that we have cancelled the trip!

Your trip sounds great - a good mix of activities and down time (an often overlooked aspect of a Disney vacation).

But since you asked for critiques - why don't you add a Chef Mickey meal on an off day and eliminate one of the in-park character meals. Then you won't feel rushed or as if you're wasting park time. (and those early morning hours are key with a little one.) There is great shopping at the CR and it's just a boat ride away from the WL. Plus you can ride the monorail and resort hop to boot.

Enjoy your trip!!

While at FW might I suggest lunch @ Pioneer Hall. IMO it is one of the most underrated and best lunches at any resort.

The only thing that scared me a bit about your itinerary is the MGM all day with Fantasmic at night. I was thinking, "Oh, I hope her daughter makes it all day without a breakdown!" BUT, when you ended with this statement I felt better. Plus, you can always take her on some quieter rides or pop into Beauty and the Beast and hope she closes her eyes for a bit. OR, you can take a leasurely boat ride to the Boardwalk and Epcot Resorts and walk around the Boardwalk for a bit == perhaps she'll nap during it all.

Your itinerary sounds great, though! I hope you get to do and see everything you have planned. Have a wonderful and magical time! :teeth:

Well, to be honest, I'm worried about that day also! But, it IS our first day so we should be excited and have plenty of energy (I hope). I couldn't do it any other way, with dinner being so early I just couldn't fit in a break on Fantasmic day no matter where I tried to put it. It would have meant leaving my morning park by noon. Hopefully it'll work out well.

The boat ride and boardwalk idea is a great one, thank you, I'll definitely keep it in mind! That's why we take a break anyway, to get out of the parks for a while, not necessarily to nap, so that would be perfect! :sunny:

Your daughter will have a good time at the playground there if she gets edgy at MGM that day. It could be a tough day on your child, but you wisely chose a down day for the next day. Enjoy!

When we were last at AK we were leaving one of the rides or shows that they relocate the stroller. When we went up to the stroller area the CM looked at me and said "blue stroller, right?" and I looked surprised that she knew that until I looked at ALL the blue strollers. I'd never noticed how many were blue before. After that we started looking for strollers that weren't blue (not many) and laughing at the blue stroller comment.

Yes, T&B, I noticed that also! LOL I was SO grateful to the DIS last time for getting me to tie on those lime green ribbons! It made it very easy to spot our stroller in the sea of blue outside every attraction and show! I never would have thought of doing that otherwise.
