Who Wants To Be A Mousekteer Live From The Magic 3/3

A representative from Disney contacted my friend today. They say (according to her and hopefully nothing is lost in translation) that Tim Rice started with Aladdin first then went to work on Lion King. This is contrary to many things we've read on the internet.

He gave my friend his email and she is going to email some links to him. This seems strange to me though as the company should know what Tim Rice worked on first for them. He also said he would send her dd some commemorative items. Just an update

You're complaining about an $80 shipboard credit?

You were on vacation, have fun. It's only a game.

No one is complaining about the $80.00...it's the principle and integrity of the "game". If the correct answer, THE LION KING, had been accepted as the orrect answer, which in deed it is, then my daughter would have had 2 life lines left with two questions left. It is very likely she could have won the 7day cruise. My daughter is 10 and had a pretty good idea of what happened. Needless to say, she was quite disappointed.

Trying to be the best parent I could be, I encouraged and praised her on a great job for answering the questions...ALL ON HER OWN....no help from anyone. She is not aware of the phone calls I have recieved or the numerous email that have been recieved by my friend who originally posted this thread while we were on the cruise.

As you may have noticed, this is m first post regarding this issue, because you need to know it is NOT about the onboard credit....it is about the integrity of the game if it is to played on board for a cruise.

Thank you to all who have been so sweet and supportive about the situation. From my last phone call when DCL call me, it may still be an open issue. I'll update at a later date if anything changes.

Thanks again!

I'm dying to know, who was Felicia? I thought I knew all the disney cats!

Interesting! Just found another thing that the Hurricane Cruisers got duped on - LOL!

We sailed the Wonder last September and our cruise was shortened due to Jeanne. The ship was only 2/3 full from what I heard. We went to the Who wants to be a mousketeer show and the prizes ranged from a pin to a little ship model or something like that. Nothing as great as a room credit or a free cruise!

If you're still on the cruise they should what game shows do when they've made an error causing the player to lost is to bring them back.

Ive seen it where they were put right back to where the errror was made and others they had to start over but at least either way they had another try.

good luck and keep us posted.

I didn't know they played wwtbam on the shorter cruises. I thought it was only on the magic am I wrong? Just wondering... :earsgirl:

I found something that says Felicia belongs to Ratigan. Whoever that is??

Ratigan is from The Great Mouse Detective (1986) Voiced by Vincent Price. Felicia was his cat and he was a bad guy and so apparently was the cat.
