Who thought the bears would win the superbowl?

I was so mad the bears lost! I really thought thay would make it but oh well. Who thought they would make it or who knew they wouldn't? Just wondering!

I knew they wouldn't because of Grossman. I said it all week before the Superbowl. He is just not a good QB. It's a pity because the Bears have an awesome defense.

at work half wanted the bears to win so our boss a huge bear fan would be happy the rest wanted the colts just to get the boss mad maybe the cubs will do something if the boss is happy your life is easy plus he gets enough hassle being in packer land trust me everyone ribs him all year

We had very high hopes the Bears would win!! We live in Chicago, but were in FL the week before and weekend of the Super Bowl. We were in Magic Kingdom the Wednesday before the game. DH wore his Bears' NFC Championship shirt to the park. Everywhere we went everyone was calling out, "GO BEARS!!" It was really cool.

I was very encouraged with that first play. Unfortunately it wasn't meant to be. I think they made a huge mistake by keeping Grossman in. Of cpourse I still think it was crappy how the Bears treated Orton. Orton led them to a really good season last year and as soon as Grossman was healthy, they stuck Orton on 3rd string. What a waste.

This is what we saw as we were coming back from our trip. Just a bit bittersweet:

I still love the Bears. There is always next year. Now, we need to get ready for the Cubbies!! DH says, again, it will be a Sox (CWS)/Cubs series this year!!

Unfortunately, I wasn't "feeling" it...nothing like Da Bears from 85-86!!! Once I realized they couldnt come back...I didnt feel guilty about winning our football pool!
