You can believe whatever you want. Ask the servers. I know servers who will not add the auto grat for large parties. They know they are good and will cost themselves money. Most people will not give more if the gratuity is already added. Especially, after what I've read on this board, the service and food will have to be superb for me to take the time to refigure my "gratuity".

Not adding the grat is against Disney policy, and grounds for termination. If the rules stat grat is to be included, its out of the servers hands; they have to do it.

This was a general statement. I am sure there is no wiggle room for Disney since this is union mandated. This happens when unions are involved....they are in control. It is hard for management to get rid of a bad employee or to reward a good one. Everybody is the same for the most part....same pay...same grat...good, bad or average.
