This cast features 4.
Luveeyore(me) is a 40+ year old nurse who loves all things Disney and has had lots of pixie dust on previous trips. Since my last Disney adventure, I have found out about a food allergy—pork and gelatin. I also have meniere’s disease and have done this cruise and one other since my surgery.
This was my 4th cruise and my 2nd Disney cruise with the first having been on the Wonder in 2005
Mom(age 77)loves Disney as much as I do if not more!! She travels with a w/c and cane. Mickey, Minnie and Pooh are her favorites and she loves to travel. Mom has been on the same number of cruises

Morgan(age 18) Luveeyore’s Goddaughter. Morgan is a senior in high school and this trip is her graduation present and 18th birthday present from Mom and I. Morgan loves to dance, sing and is fun loving.

December 13, 2012 Today is the day!!-
What a busy 2 years saving, planning and now the day we have been waiting for is here.
After almost two years of planning, the day is here. Today is the day we leave. Bags packed, 2 boxes of fish extender gifts shipped to port, car loaded, animals care arranged for, It is time to leave. Off to pick up the girls. Both seniors in high school, they both went part day and got out at different times. Morgan and Christie live about an hour and a half from me so they met me and Christie’s family was traveling the same road so they were able to meet us and take her car home. The girls were susposed to meet me at 4, well it was closer to 5 only to have an 18 yo talking about my driving. I am thinking I did pretty well considering I couldn’t see out of the 4 wd for all the luggage!!
Mom wanted to take the train so we were off to Cary NC by 5 pm. We needed to be in Cary by about 8:45 pm after having dinner so we could check luggage. The trip is about 2 and a half hours. We stopped for dinner in Hillsboro NC at a place called Vinnie’s. It was great!! Here comes the food porn
Well maybe no food porn, Cant find those pictures
Then to board the train. The Cary station is so clean and the attendants are so nice and helpful. There is plenty of parking. There were helpful getting Mom on the train. We are off to Orlando by :-)35 pm!! Yeah Vacation has started!!!
By the time we got to the train, I was exhausted. I had worked a grueling schedule and had worked overtime prior to going. I am a nurse and the unit I work on usually slows down about November…that didn’t happen this year. The last patients I cared for had the flu.
The girls were susposed to leave at 3 then it was but was more like 3:45 before they left.
Downside, we overpacked. In the waiting room we are repacking. Also the wheelchair had to be checked so it counted as a checked item. By the time we got on the train, I was so tired I couldn’t sleep

012- Arrival and Cocoa Beach Day
Train ride down was uneventful. I slept. Morgan slept some. Christie slept little and Mom slept none. We took snacks(way too many snacks) so we had fruit, cheese and crackers for breakfast. We were about an hour late getting to Orlando. We sat for a while near the Autotrain station in Orlando.

The weather was in the 70’s. Took about 45 minutes to get our car in the terminal. Then we were off to find lunch and camera charger and Cocoa Beach!!
Lunch was a Taco Bell. Navigators Morgan and Christie did a great job. We were at Country Inn and Suites Cocoa Beach by 3pm. Luggage unloaded, room found, showers taken and out the door before 4:15 and Grills to watch Monarch of the Seas sail.
We loved walking around Jetty Park and port. We had dinner at Grills. It was great. Here comes food porn. Mom and Christie had Kabobs, Morgan had surf and turf and I had seafood alfredo. We all loved our meals. And I loved watching Monarch leave port and taking Pictures from Grills and having dinnder from FrilsWe drove around port. Saw the Christmas tree in Port. We went to Ron Jon’s and Wal Greens and were back to the hotel all by 8:30 pm. At this point, I realized I did not have the FE lists as I was the list keeper for the cruise. Panic sets in. Exhausted panic I might say. I did have the memory stick with the updates.
