tis sept just me and dh are cruising 4 day inside state room is it dark ,, is it tight .{ cat 10 } level 6 .. next we are in a room with verhanda .. but the prise was good .. will be happy or hate it??

On our last cruise, we stayed in cat 10, level 6. When we first went to our room for the first time, it was kind of "close". We soon got used to it and we weren't in it very much. Just to change clothes and sleep. We did fine and had more money for the spa and photos. There were two of us. You will enjoy it. Have fun!!!

Our first cruise was in a cat 11. We could a afford a verandah but desided it wasn't worh it. When you think about it your room is for sleeping and getting dressed. Just walk outside and you can see the ocean just as good, maybe even better. IF you had lights on it wasnt to dark. We use to leave a light in the bathroom on during the night and close the door part way. We are booked in a cat 11 for our next cruise but may upgrade at port to a 8 or 9. I think the cat 11 is just great, same service just not window or verandah.
Enjoy your cruise

We stayed in an 11 once. We have also gotten a secret porthole room. For our next cruise(in a couple years) if Im unable to get a SPR, I will definitely go back to an 11. No problem at all.

Before we learned about the secret porthole rooms, our first several Disney cruises were in Cat. 11 staterooms. We had never cruised before and we were constantly on the go, so it really was no problem for us. As a matter of fact, our first two staterooms on our first two Magic cruises were within two doors of each other. Now that we know all about secret portholes and verandahs, it would be hard to go back. But for a budgetary trip, if we can't get a secret porthole room, we will book an 11 rather than a 10 because being on a potentially quiet deck (i.e. not under a nightclub) is more important to me than the split bathroom. There are plenty of options for being outside, such as deck 4 and the deck 7 aft verandah, and an inside stateroom is also a great excuse to spend more time in the Rainforest.

We stayed in a category 10, deck 7. I personally would either go for the cat 10 or a navigator verandah -- I just can't see paying all the extra money for a window that doesn't open! This was my 7th cruise, and all but one of those was in an inside cabin. I have to say that Disney's inside cabins are far larger than those from my prior experiences, where we had up to four adults crammed into space about the size of the bathroom on the Wonder!

We brought one of those green glowing nightlights (the ones from Home Depot that aren't real bright) and plugged it in to provide a little light while sleeping.

We had an inside cabin...

It was funny in the morning... you would wake up and have no idea what time it was.. is it night? is it morning? it was black as coal in the cabin without lights on...

We would ahve no idea if it was sunny.. if it was raining/.. we would check the bridge camera channel to see what it was like out before we got dressed.

I liked the cabin... it was comfy & warm.. nice bedding - don't worry you will have a grand time.

We were inside our first cruise, and got a free upgrade to a verandah the 2nd. The verandah was really nice, but I wouldn't pay for it. I agree, you are seldom in the room.

One other plus (at least we thought so) for the inside rooms is that the set up is opposite the verandah rooms. When you enter the room, the "living" area is first (with the couch/desk combination, then the big bed is at the back.

When we were in the verandah room, we were always tripping over the bed because it was in the section by the door. The steamer trunk thing was about twice as big in our inside stateroom as well. Not sure if that's the case in all of the rooms, but it was with us.
