We watched it from Frontierland. It was cool how it incidently occured right inbetween Spectromagic and Wishes. I took some pictures but they didn't turn out real great, due to my camera not taking nightime ones very well. To bad NASA wouldn't to a retake for me, so I could video tape it instead HAHA
We saw it too! We were at EPCOT at Canada. We planted ourselves on the upper "patio" and I was on the phone with Mom back in Michigan while she gave me updates as to what was happening. It was so awesome for my DD 7 to be able to see the shuttle. Goose bumps!
Yeah we were on the beach in Fort Wilderness it was amazing! My daughter called her teacher Monday morning to let her know she saw it! she was so excited!
We had also just seen Spectromagic and were walking out of the MK. we saw the shuttle as it cleared the trees to the left of the Contemporary. We were taking the Big Boat back to the TTC to go back to the poly. We saw the long yellow flame until the boosters split off and the flame turned white and got smaller. IT was a star point for about another 45 minutes. My DD6 wondered if it was the christmas star it was so bright.
We'd just finished watching Spectro from the bridge by Splash Mountain, then turned around and saw the orange glow. It was one of the most magical moments on our trip.
We were getting ready to watch Wishes. We were in the Rose Garden area when we heard the crowd up at the hub start chearing. We looked east and saw the sky was glowing, then up over Tomorrowland rose the Space Shuttle!!!
We saw it at OKW from the 2nd floor landing by the door to our room. I also saw the last Titan missle launch a few years ago, it was a night launch and visible from OKW...but the shuttle was much more spectacular.
We saw it from POFQ. Was an absolute highlight for my 11 yo DS! He got a picture of the orange glowing stage, and it had to be the first thing printed off to bring to school! What an amazing sight! Yet another magical moment at WDW!!!
Were were @ EPCOT just coming out of dinner @ Le Cellier. We thought we missed it. This is a better shot over the lake for sure, but still it was spectacular.
We watched from DD. I got a GREAT video of it (I really need to figure out how to post that) thanks to the good zoom on my camcorder. My Mom took pictures with her disposable camera so I'm sure they won't be great but we will have them. My DS thought it was the greatest thing ever. In fact it was the first thing he told his preschool class when he went back this morning.
