Who said that houses aren't selling?!

My house got posted Tuesday at 10 am... thats when it went active... we got a call at 10:15am that some one wanted to see the house at 11:45 am... at 9am this morning the realitor called and said when she walked in there was an offer on her desk for FULL PRICE! they needed an answer by 5pm tonight... the catch.. always a catch they wanted to close April 30th... we had said that we needed to wait till June 30, I'm a teacher and needs a place to live till the years over... I'm moving out of state so that is kinda tricky.. we were able to talk them into pushing it back till May 15.. so for 6 weeks ish me and my dog will be living with my grandparents but the HOUSE SOLD!!

The house had been on the market 5 seperate times before this time and nothing not even a nibble before...

Can you tell im excited... also stressed to the max now

Congratulations!!!! How wonderful for you. Our house took 6 weeks to sell and I stressed those entire six weeks.

Close friend put her house up for sale 4 weeks ago , it sold in 7 days.

House two doors down from me, still for sale after 1.5 year.

We listed our house end of Feb, had one open house March 7, only one person came thru. They came back March 10 and offered March 11, we countered and they accepted March 12. We then put an offer on a house March 15th, that was listed on March 5. Both inspections were done today, minor electrical work needed at the house we are selling and the house we are buying. Closing to be April 28th, I have so much packing to do.

Houses that are priced right are definately selling in this area.
