Who puts up a Disney themed christmas tree?

We put up 4 trees in our house- one is the family ornaments, one is our "tacky" tree (DH and I have an unofficial contest to see who can find the ugliest ornaments- usually with a beach theme since it's on our sunporch, which is decorated with that theme), one is in DD's room with lots of soft, child safe ornaments (no lights) and one (in our TV room) is our DIsney tree. We have a Tink tree topper and skirt, we have purchased 1 (ok, usually more!) ornament when we go to WDW and the tree is almost full. Our house is a 3 bedroom ranch so it's not a huge house but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVe christmas and decorate the entire house! We even pack away our regular dishes and use holiday ones from THanksgiving through Feb (they are more of a "winter" so I stretch it!) We started to run out of room on our "regular" tree- which is why we expanded onto the other trees. DH just shakes his head and wants to know when the trees are coming into the bathroom (hmmm-not a bad idea- maybe a rubber ducky theme???)

Here is my Disney tree from last year.

Hi
I also have a disney tree all disney we must have ( plan on counting those ornements this year lol..lol) over 350 ornements some of them who are either musical , lighted , animated ......
We put that tree up right after haloween so we can enjoy it longer :thumbsup2
Just can wait to put it up

Hi everyone! I enjoyed reading everybodies replies! My tree is about 90% Disney. I've got a Mickey tree topper: he is riding a carousel reindeer in his Santa suit and he goes around and up and down. Plus the Mickey tree skirt.
Some of my ornaments I keep out all year in my bedroom on the shelves of my computer hutch: the Hallmark "Small World", Mickey in Fantasia, several of the round ornaments I have hanging on ornament hangers like my Disney cruise line ornament, etc... I've also got lots of other decorations that just sit around.
Have y'all been to Sam's Club lately? My parents just bought one of my early Christmas presents on Saturday. It is a Disney Christmas village. It is so cute! It's got about 3 buildings, a bridge, a Christmas tree that has a little train that goes around the bottom, and several characters. It's about $60 -65 dollars. I can't remember for sure. Y'all need to check it out. I already have an It's a Wonderful Life Christmas village(my fav. Chr. movie), but when I saw this I could not pass it up!!!

oh yes.. actually my husband and I said we would start putting our stuff up.. around the first week in November.. so we can enjoy it longer since a week we will be in Disney at Christmas!

Anyways.. I use to work at Hallmark about 10-12 years ago.. ever since then I collect every disney character.. I try to have each character on our huge tree! My daughter has a princess tree.. we are going to look for actually a pink tree this year for her!

Taget alert Target alert!!!!!

I was at our Target yesterday and found Disney christmas decorations. Globes and ornaments...

Hi daisyduck123-- tell us about your Disney family room! I would love to hear all about it! It sounds great!

Hi! Thanks for asking!

Well, we finally finished our basement (with a bathroom) & during planning, knew it would be a Disney family room & adjoining bathroom.

The bathroom is NEMO...with a Nemo door from Home Depot. Our painter painted the ocean, with waves, on the wall. DH owns a frame shop & put all of our Nemo pins in a shadowbox on the wall.

The family room also has a Mickey door leading into it....also from Home Depot.

The family room is painted in Mickey colors from Home Depot. We added the
Mickey coffee table (my WDW scrapbooks are arranged on the bottom shelf) & end table from Disneyshopping.com & also some Mickey couch pillows from there.

We had built-in shelves put along one wall. On the shelves are all of our Diseny snowglobes, picture frames, etc. I also have some of my antenna toppers arranged in a Pooh vase.

I have 2 magnetic whiteboards from Disneyshopping.com. All of my WDW magnets & some postcards are on these.

I've got a large Mickey mirror from that website also.

We had a gas fireplace put in...it has a large shelf on top. On that sits the BIG FIG we got in WDW in May.

DH owns a frame shop. He framed the poster we had made from our ride on Dinosaur in AK, the posters of us we had made at the Imageworks Photolab in Epcot, all of our 5X7 Chef Mickey pictures, our 8X10 photo from Cinderella's dinner at the castle, some Disney prints we bought, & some others I can't recall. Our Mickey clock is also on the wall.

If it's not Disney, then it's not allowed in the room (except the new sofa & DH's new leather recliner). I wish Disneyshopping.com sold a Disney sofa!!

Please everyone, can you post pictures of your trees(BTW, beautiful tree Peg). I must live vicariously through you. I can't put up a Christmas tree anymore. You see, I have a very curious(mischevious) kitty cat who insists on climbing up our tree. It was really cute the first Christmas we had her(when she was a 4 pound kitten). We would often find her asleep in the branches of the tree. Well, fast forward a year later and 16 pounds heavier. The tree just can't hold up to that kind of stress, so it would come crashing down. That was three years ago. We haven't had a tree since. We do have a huge wreath that we put up in our foyer, but it isn't the same.

Ohhh a tinkerbell topper!!! I want one. We also do the disney decor. I have Mickey,Minnie, Goofy for the window. and disney ornaments for the tree(even disney lights) There was a wearhouse in my area that used to have BIG christmas sales ,but I think they are closed for good now:( One year they had LOTS of disney stuff it was awesome

We have had a Disney themed tree for 13 years..when we were married my mother-in-law gave us about 20 Disney themed ornaments(grolier)...we now have about 50 different kind of Disney ornaments...my husband gave me the Christmas ladder that has Mickey and Minnie and Donald and Daisy and Goofy passing up ornamnets to Mickey and they move..I also have the Christmas Mickey clock shop that has the 4 different shops that the doors pop open and characters sing and the pendulum swings at the bottoms with the characters on them..I have stocking holders with Pooh and friends...and Mickey door wreath..We are going to Disney for Thanksgiving and Plan to bring a small Disney themed Christmas tree and decorations for our room at CBR to join in the decorations for Christmas at Disney..Just Cant Wait!!! :yay:

Ours is 100% Disney--well, I take that back--can't seem to make myself take the angel off the top of the tree! I have collected ornaments from every trip we have taken to WDW, sometimes purchasing 10 or more per trip. Makes for a beautiful tree~ :goodvibes

Glad to know we are not the only ones who go crazy with a Disney Christmas!!!! :rotfl: We have an ornament (marked with the year) for every year my dh and I have been together since 1995. We also buy special WDW bulbs every time we go! We also have the storybook ornaments!
Sonya

We have a 9ft tree and it is entirely disney. We have the Disney tree skirt and the Pooh angel tree topper. I also put out my Disney Christmas village and have various Christmas themed Disney stuffed animals that go up.

I will try to remember to take a picture of it this year and post it. It will go up Thanksgiving weekend.

We have a small Christmas tree that's almost 3 feet tall and it is for our kids. That is where we put all the Disney Ornaments. In the upcoming years, I have a feeling if my kids and DH have anything to say about it - my big Christmas tree will turn in to the Disney tree.

Since we spend Christmas at WDW, our resort room tree is totally Disney-themed. At home, we have nothing even remotely Disney-ish, making our WDW stay even more magical.

We have a small pink one in the girls room all year around. They use it as a night light until they all are asleep. We have about 30 ornaments and count.

I want a Disney tree. Dh said no, so I started with a Disney wreath. I have a kitchen tree that I used to put kitchen type stuff on it, but this year it is going to be my Disney tree.
