He was a maelstrommer prior to being a riddler, so chap trumps spike. look at his posts haley. he posted a comic...some time ago...but he was dubbed chap by me in early april....okay now i do sound like a stalker

I believe it was Lou that nicknamed him Spike on the riddle one day.
I decided he needed a nickname. (I didnt know about the chappie thing...I didnt get the memo!) And he made a comment about someone named Spike.....and it stuck. So Spike is his riddle name.
