This is my #1 pick for our upcoming trip and I sure would like to hear all about it - what you liked, what you loved, and even what you didn't like about it..

Please keep in mind this is the BREAKFAST as we have no interest in doing the dinner..

My granddaughter will have just turned 6 by then - the trip is the 1st week of December..

Thanks!

We loved it! Our two DS's loved the character interaction! The food was very good with a big selection. Our server was very attentive we always had our juice glasses full. Our coffee cups were always full also! She was right there removing the used plates. But most important our two DS's LOVED IT! They loved singing with Mickey and Minnie and twirling their napkins in the air it was really a good time! The only thing that was not great was at the table next to us there was a family with two DD's. The older child wanted no part of the character's and openly weeped, because her mother kept forcefully pushing her towards them. Which ok what ever, but the part that got me was when chip walked away she grabbed her daughters arm and shook her and told her if she did not drop the c*** she was going to punch her in the mouth!!!!! And then proceeded for the rest of their meal berate her for beign a pain in the rear (not the word she used) and a waste of money!! That was the only thing that marred an otherwise great time! But that is not Disney's fault! Sorry for rambling! Have a great time!

Yes !!!Chef Mickey's

We just returned from WDW on Sunday and we did breakfast at CM's and it was great. This was our third time we have eaten breakfast there over our last three trips. My DS's are 7 and 10 and they loved it. It was like one big party. The people are all very nice and the food is very good. The characters interact with the kids very well. They pose for all the pictures that you want.

I hope you have a great trip!!

We love Chef Mickey's! :) My son's love the character interaction and are just super excited every time a monorail glides over the buffet.

A trip wouldn't be complete for us w/o breakfast w/ Mickey in the "monorail house!"

The food at Chef Mickey's is very very good and a lot to choose from. They have everything to offer so even the pickiest kids can find something good to eat. We love when the characters dance!!! They seemed to spend a lot of time at each table too! We really like Chef Mickey's for breakfast, so I'm sure you will too! Another great character breakfast is at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. Very good food and a different set of characters. The last time we were there they had Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, the White Rabbit, The Mad Hatter, Pinocchio and Ghepetto too. It's always fun to try something new too!:wave2:

We had the best time taking our then almost 2 yr old son back in Feb! We saved it for checkout morning to be sure that he was ok with the characters by then, and there was no rush to get to the parks. He bopped Dale on the head, played hand tag with Pluto, pulled up Minnie's dress (dont know where he got that from), kissed Mickey goodbye (which got a huge reaction from everyone in our area), and said bye to Goofy on our way out. We cant wait to do it again Jan 4! The food was a lot better than what they served downstairs in the cafe. We loved the oatmeal and stuffed french toast.

We ate at Chef Mickey's for the first time on our last trip...had the earliest PS...practically had the place to ourselves (of course, this was January...but the place began to fill up as we were finishing up).
One of our favorite memories of that trip was our character interaction there! Minnie let us know that she, too, had a bagel for breakfast. Mickey flirted like crazy with my SIL. All the characters paid tons of attention to my DDs...we almost couldn't eat our breakfast they were around so much. The best moment, however, was when Chip came over to our table. My DH nickname is Chip and he happened to have on his Fire Department fleece w/ Chip embroidered on it. I said, "Hey! Chip...meet Chip!" Chipmunk Chip made my DH get up, take off his apron, and put it on himself, then paraded him around to some other tables to show him off! My DDs love showing these pictures and telling the story!

Oh! and the food was great!
This will now be on our "must-do" list for every trip! What took us so long? lol

We had breakfast at Chef Mickeys this past July, the character interaction was great! The food selection was very good, and the service was excellent.
Another nice place to have breakfast is the Crystal Palace in the MK. The food selection was great (a bit better than Chef Mickey's), service was great and so was the character interaction.
