Who Loves College Football

Go Dawgs! Sic'Em! Woof Woof Woof!
I love my SEC and my GA Bulldawgs!!!:cheer2:

given their next 3 cupcakes, I'd say PU should be able to pick up some easy W's and be 3-1 heading into their Big 10/11/12 schedule and since their 1st conference game is Northwestern they might even win that one.

I wouldn't bet on it if they have the same set of Big Ten officials that Northwestern brought to Vanderbilt this past weekend. Worst call I have seen in a very long time and it handed the game to Northwestern. With the game on the line you would think the refs would make sure before throwing the flag. I have been to just about every Vanderbilt home game over the last 30 years and I have never seen such anger from the fans. It amazes me that a whole stadium can see something (the replays backup that it was a bad call) and the refs blow the call when they are right on top of the action.

It was kind of funny watching the refs running away after the game. They knew and we knew they had blown the game. All they could do was run and hide.

Of course I am a proud member of BRONCO NATION !
Give me a hard working blue color team any day of the week, the big dynasties leave me cold.

Although I'm a Hokies fan, they played a good ballgame last night! :thumbsup2

Of course, I can't wait until this coming weekend! BOOMER SOONER!!!:cool1:

I went to the Boise State vs Virginia Tech game... it was awesome, only my 2nd college football game ever. Loved every moment of it.

Excited now for the season to pick up. UNC vs. LSU and Boise St vs. Virginia Tech were just a taste of the great games we have in store for the season. After most teams got the cupcake game out of the way in week 1, we now get a full slate of amazing games this saturday with no less than 3 Rank-Rank matchups and plenty of mouth watering fixtures.

Football schedule for the weekend.

Purdue at noon, while we DVR the UGA game to watch later.

Notre Dame at 3:30, while we DVR the Ohio State game to watch later. BUT, we won't get to watch all of the ND game, will have to finish DVRing the game to watch.

But I think I have DH convinced into DVRing the ND game, so he and DS can watch it together Sunday morning. DS said he didn't care if he got to watch UM play ND or not. He's more concerned about the first marching show on Saturday, which is why we won't get to watch all of the 3:30 game, we have to leave and head outta town to get to the marching show. But, I know he would enjoy watching the game with his dad.

I have to really keep on top of football games this year, as we juggle getting our college football fix and high school marching band competions. DH is already on notice that there is 4-5 weekends coming up that all our football fix is going to be DVR'd and watched on Sunday. We are lucky that it's just 1 show this week and it's only an hours drive away.

We have lots of teams in our house. Make life quite interesting at times.

I am a PENN STATE fan. I grew up in lion country and wouldn't know how to root for anyone else.:cool1::cool1:

DH and DS2 is TENNESSEE fans. Go Vols!:banana:

DS3 is totaly obsessed with LSU. Tiger man he is.:dance3::dance3: His room is nothing but purple and yellow with a hint of white. This kid better get a scholarship LSU or he is going to be miserable anywhere else.

The Vanderbilt LSU game is tomorrow and my mom got my DS 2 tickets to go. Unfortunately they are for the Vandy side of the stadium. So, if anyone is watching and you see 2 people in purple in a sea of gold THAT'S US:rolleyes1
Bless her. She ment well.

We are LSU fans here. We will be watching the game. I will be sure to keep an eye out for you.
Geaux Tigers! :cheer2:

I'm a WVU Mountaineer through and through. I bleed gold and blue. Let's Go Mountaineers!

Now with that being said, I now attend Penn State so I am wearing my PSU t-shirt today. As soon as I get home I'm wearing WVU shirt for the game tonight.

Oh and I root for anyone that is playing Michigan. :thumbsup2

Vanderbilt fan here. I can assure you that you won't be the only LSU fans on the Vandy side. Any time you have an SEC game there are lots of others fans in the stadium.

After my earlier post about the lousy ref's at the Vandy-Northwestern game, I think it is interesting to note that the Big 10 sent a formal apology to the SEC and Vandy for how poorly their officials called the game. Doesn't do anything to change the results but it is the first time I can recall that this has been done. We knew the Big 10 officials were jobbing us, I just didn't expect them to admit it.

High School fun, some people complain but I do miss it when my oldest was into 3 different sports, never missed a game and I was a traveling salesman then with a large territory. Enjoy it goes by faster then you think.

My team played on Thursday. Iowa State beat Northern Illinois 27-10. They were pretty impressive in all but the 3rd quarter too. :D

Too bad Saturday's game won't be another win for you guys... ;)

GO HAWKS!! :woohoo:

Go Hawkeyes!!!

I'd say the Hawkeyes were pretty impressive too. On national TV, too!

At least Iowa State finally broke the touchdown drought and scored a TD late in the fourth quarter (against Iowa's 3rd string defense).

On to Arizona next week!! :cheer2:

Had a great weekend of football. Gators at 12, Michigan at 3:30 and Bama at 8. What is up with my Gators? So tough to watch them struggle on offense. My family members are starting to laugh at me, especially since we are going to see Michigan play on Saturday. Robinson is for real, while Forcier will soon quit. Is Bama that good or Penn State that bad. Time will tell
