Who likes Le Cellier for lunch?

We've enjoyed Dinner there twice, but never tried their lunch menu. What's good and what's a good value?

The Wife and I had a very good lunch there last summer. We each had the cheese soup and a Molsen. It is the only place in the US I have ever been that had Molsen on tap. I had a small filet that was very tasty. She had one of their entree salads.

My DS5 & I are dining her for lunch on 7/24 and I can't wait!

I hope the lunch is just as good as the dinners that I've heard so much about

We do! They made the maple BBQ filet for DH (cannot make the mushroom one because the items are not prepped yet) and I had the beef tips with veggies and udon noodles...it was amazing!

We almost always eat lunch there. I like the petit filet with the garlic sauce and sour cream mashed potatoes. I prefer it to the bbq filet at dinner although both are very good.

We weren't able to get dinner ressies the last two times so we had lunch. My DH and I both had the cheese soup (loved it) and DH had the prime rib sandwich and I had the filet over cream cheese mashed potatos--both meals were delicious.

We couldn't get dinner ressies last summer, so we had to go for lunch. I was so upset, thinking I'd "failed" as the big OCD planner I am. BUT, we were all pleasantly surprised!

I had the 5oz filet & DH had the New York Strip....the best steaks both of us had EVER had! They were cooked to perfection. (Not to mention the Cheddar Cheese Soup, Pretzel Bread, etc......) DD6 & DS3 had the steak & they loved it, too (something other than chicken nuggets/hot dogs!)

ME! We ate there for lunch and loved it, my filet was amazing.

Personally, we like to eat lunch at restaurants. It's a good way to rest mid-day.

We very much enjoyed lunch at Le Cellier - but were disappointed that their cream cheese mashed potatoes aren't served with lunch entrees. There was some kind of yukon gold potatoes served with our steaks that were absolutely delicious. There's always next time!

I like the smaller lunch portions personally. That way I can have dessert!!!! Campfire S'mores = Yummy!!!!

but I thought it was too big a meal for mid-day. Loved the Duck confit appy & hoping I can get it as my entree this year!

We really enjoy lunch. We've always recieved tremendous service at lunch. DH got some kind of steak, I don't remember which one. He likes them all!
I got the prime rib sandwhich! It was delish and big. I couldn't finish it all. We also had the cheddar soup, yummy, but I like it better for dipping my bread in! From some of the other threads I've read about Le Cellier, it would seem that the service and sometimes the food are much better at lunch time. Maybe they get too rushed in the evening!

Went there last October and had a wonderful prime rib sandwich! I heard another guest talking about it as we were waiting to be seated. It was sooooo good - wonderful tender beef, no fat, no gristle (I'm very picky about that!). I think it was only about $9 or $10. Definitely a good value compared to some items (like my favorite dinner item, the filet).

I requested the mashed potatoes instead of the yukon potatoes, no problem..
