Welcome to my very first trip report! If you like people getting into trouble, traveling with small kids, and arguing with inlaws, then this is for you. First off the intros and then I'll get right to the good stuff.
Let me start by saying I had planned this trip about a millisecond after my sister announced she was pregnant with my niece. Lucky for me I ended up having a baby 5 weeks younger than her, so that worked out perfectly. Two happy kids on a dream family vacation. Hahahahahha not even! Along the way my sister and I each had another child. My sister's younger daughter has serious sensory issues, and Disneyworld would just about ruin any good therapy is doing her. Once my sister dropped out of the trip to stay with her youngest, I agonized about taking my youngest, but ultimately decided to leave her with grandma this trip. Then my friend who has a child a year younger than mine expressed an interest in going, so I said heck yeah, come on! Since we had a prepaid non-refundable hotel room, I asked around to see if anyone else wanted to go, and was surprised when my mother in law and step-father in law said yes. Oh well, the more the merrier. So away we go with the intros.
A big group shot:
From left to right, those are my friends, Juan and Andrea, and their two year old son, Gabe. In front with the pink ears is my niece, Bella, and I am next to her with the striped ears, holding my son, Cooper. They are both three. Behind me are my inlaws, David and Susan, and my hubby Chris is right there on the end.
Just for kicks, these are the kiddos left behind, my niece Juli and my baby Anya. Aren't they so stinkin' cute?
Anyway... intros over, time for fun!
