the lil jars full of the ingredients to make cookies? Then all the receiver has to do is add the wet stuff to finish making the cookies. I am on the committee for our holiday party at work and I think that they would be cute to make and give as a favor.

I saw these at Target, and thought they'd be really easy to make at home. You would need hot chocolate mix, other flavorings (like mini chocoalte chips, maybe some of the swirled kind), mini marshmallows and sprinkles. You'd also need the plastic cake decorating bags (tube shaped) and ribbon.

You layer them to look like an ice cream cone (the mix is the cone, the marshmallows are the ice cream) and tie it up with directions (3-4 tables spoons of the mix + 1 cup of hot milk or water).

I think they are SO cute, I wish I had someone to give them to. I think they'd also be cheaper than the cookie jars, as the bags would be a lot cheaper than jars.

I've got a couple books for jar recipes (soups, cookies, bars & brownies, and breads). PM me if you're looking for something specific.

I'm made a brownie one, one year with great results. I reused clean spag.jars(mason jars) and got the canning lids for it. Easy and the girls helped make them. Messy but easy. :thumbsup2
