Sick!!! Aww you poor thing!! I started my spring break today with an accident on Southfield Freeway! How pathetic are we....lol supposed to be "enjoying" our break!!! ugh Well at least I can spend next week with my truck at the body shop.

Disney take me away!!!! (like Calgon.....lol)

Yeah everyone on our mock trial competition trip was sick so Idk if I picked something up or if it is just really bad sinuses Either way it hasn't made for an exciting break

This isn't the only day we went to Typhoon Lagoon and we all loved the water parks and are going back to them in May!

When Caitlin finished her surf lesson we grabbed a bus back to BCV where she planned to take a nap before we went to a late lunch at Teppan Edo. Well by the time we got back she starving! She wanted to just get ready and go eat so we switched our plans and decided to get lunch next door at the Yacht Club's Captain's Grille.

On our way through the BC we passed these lovely paintings

and noticed they were filled with Hidden Mickey's...

We enjoy our Hidden Mickey's so we had a good time with those!

Before we knew it we were at Captain's Grille and the place was practically empty!

We quickly ordered and our appetizer was out in no time! This was the spinach dip and it was fabulous! The menu lists it as "for 2" but it was plenty for the 3 of us!

Next up was "the wedge" which Caitlin and I split. YUM!

For our entrees...

I chose the crab cake appetizer as my meal. It was so good and combined with the salad and appetizer I was stuffed by the time I finished!

Dale had the steak salad which he thoroughly enjoyed!

and Caitlin had the tomato and mozzarella sandwich which she enjoyed but didn't find too filling after her morning workout.

But that just meant she still had room for dessert! So Caitlin ordered this for . It's from the children's menu but they let her get it anyway Its their fruit,marshmallow and brownie kabob with chocolate dipping sauce! She still talks about this dessert

We were all very pleased with our meals and the service was wonderful! When we were finished the waitress brought this for Caitlin since she had noticed the birthday pin on her lanyard

She also brought her a bag of taffy and balloons. We all gave Captain's Grille thumbs up for service and food!

After lunch we decided to head over to Epcot but I'll let Caitlin tell you all about that......

Sorry gang - I must've been out of touch and missed the past several updates.
Sounds like Caitlin had a blast surfing!
That always sounded like it might be fun to try those lessons - maybe when the kids get older.
But the pictures you did have make Caitlin look like a professional out there!

As for the Photopass, did you guys try to call them and find your pictures?
We've had success with that in the past if you give them the time of day, park, and a picture of yourself.

As for Captain's Grille, we've never been but it looks alot like Cape May decoration-wise.
I've never been over to the Yacht Club side though - how is it over there?

We really enjoyed the food and the special treatment at the CG! If you're looking for a convenient place to eat while at BCV definitely check it out!
