Bavarian cheesecake sounds deicious....I know next summer we will definitely be hitting the Werther's store in Germany....that just sounds heavenly!!!

One of the ladies at work goes every year so we're going to learn some tips from her and her daughter. I had originally planned to go this year, but when I couldn't get good flights on the Saturday in September I gave up one holiday day so that meant no shopping this year

I love the "hotties around the world" segment.

That cupcake from starring rolls looks divine! Don't they all look so good? I had such a hard time deciding which one to get.

You know the of us were eager to see Tangled after seeing drawings and other items in the Animation Building during our trip. Well this past weekend our schedules finally worked that all 3 of us could go see it. We saw the 3D version and let me say it did not disappoint! This movie has it all...beautiful and charming princess, handsome and charming "hero", funny supporting characters, great music, touching story and most of all HEART! For me, the key to a great Disney movie is that little something that tugs at your heart and brings a tear to your eye. (we thought the Princess and the Frog lacked heart)

It was a hit with all 3 of us and we all rank it up there with the classics from Caitlin's childhood...Aladdin, Lion King etc. For Caitlin it didn't replace Beauty and the Beast as her favorite (I felt the same way about Little Mermaid) but we both agreed Tangled makes our top 3! As for Dale, he loved it most of all and said it "replaces Toy Story" as his all-time favorite Disney movie.

So if you have not seen Tangled....GO! You will love it! If you have seen it...what did you think? Do you agree with our assessment?

I totally understand the motion sickness! There are movies I can't take either. I had to close my eyes a lot during Cars Tangled doesn't have any scenes that bothered me at all. The 3D is very subtle and shouldn't bother you but it is out as a regular movie too if you're concerned. Next time a Disney movie comes out we should have a Detroit Dis-meet

I saw Tangled and thought it was fantastic. I really enjoyed Princess and the Frog, but I thought they really topped themselves with this. I don't know if I'd say it had more heart than Frog (I know that one tugged on my heart strings just as much as Toy Story 3 and UP did), but I'd say that I thought the major improvement was in the cleverness of both the script and music. I know I will be getting the soundtrack to this one. All in all, I thought it was another Disney classic in the making.

YES!! A Detroit Dis-meet!! Sounds like a blast. I know my girls would love it too! And who knows that could turn into a Disney trip!! (now I know we would love that!! lol)
Tell Caitlin I feel for her during these next couple of weeks. Finals are absolutely draining! I have one on the 23rd at 8am!! And I only go to school at night!! Nothing like missing a morning of work to take a final! lol I have night finals too but that one is going to be the weirdest one.

We all loved Tangled. DH even liked it although he thought there was a little too much singing. We didn't see it in 3D Whenever we see a movie in
3D we usually leave the theater wondering why we paid more, but I have heard Tangled is one of those movies that actually makes the extra price worth it. I was thinking of taking Caitlin one more time to see it but she has already been back to see it with Grandma. Is three times too many?

I can't wait for it to come out on Blu-ray.

Glad you enjoyed Tangled! For us the Princess and the Frog was just missing something. That said, I must admit after some great meet and greets in the MK Tiana is probably my new favorite princess

As for a meet on a trip....I just booked our next year's vacation and our trip is overlapping Queen and Jasmine's. If you're thinking of going in 2011 consider the end of August and we can all hang out! How fun would that be?!

An 8am final that close to Christmas? We do not envy you! But we do applaud you for working on your degree Good luck on the exams! Caitlin's final schedule isn't too bad. She mostly has papers to write and that girl is so on the ball she should wiz through it!

I'm glad you liked Tangled! I'm not sure how big a difference the 3D made as the effect felt very subtle. We always go the 3D route as Dale is convinced if we don't he'll miss something

No 3times isn't too much What's too much is when they get the dvd and watch it multiple times a day
