thank you for sharing your tirp. I have been reading for four days to catch up. I have been planing to do a mother daughter trip for a year now. Just this week we set a date. You got my attention with your ages, I turn 40 this year and my daughter is 18, so we got alot of ideas. Thanks again for sharing can't wait to here the rest.

I'm glad we were able to give you some ideas! A lot of people think Disney trips are just for young kids but there is so much to do whatever age you are that it never gets boring!

Hey Caitlin, I was watching a movie the other day and saw a trailer for Scream! I was so excited to try to spot you, but couldn't find you. I'm sure I'll have more luck when I see it out in theatres!

*Ah I am so ready for WDW! I have begun the Disney music non-stop and am writing this while Meet Me Down on Main Street plays I have been busy with finals I really can't believe they start a week from tomorrow Also Scream 4 comes out a week from tomorrow *

I loved Sum Of All Thrills! My dad and I went on it so many times so we could try out each car type they have and liked the rocket the best


So after Epcot we were on our way to Typhoon Lagoon! I was very excited and this trip definitely got me addicted to water parks!When we got there my parents had to pay for their tickets from one of the machines.

It was $92 for one day tickets for the both of them.

I had gone inside to grab seats while they were paying for their tickets so I was walking around trying to find them. Well I couldn't and when I did find them I found out they had been in the Lazy River since they couldn't find me

We all decided to go over to the Crush-N-Gusher which is the water rollercoaster they have.

We all loved this! We had a blast and went on it two more times throughout the day.


My dad and I went through the swim with the sharks area

while my mom took pictures of Typhoon Lagoon.

I liked swimming with the sharks but at it is kind of difficult.You have to stay completely still and only kick with your feet to get across. Well I got kicked in the face and my mask filled up with water so I was coughing and spitting out salt water and through this whole ordeal I actually kicked my dad in the face so it's not as easy as it looks!

We all decided to go in the Lazy River together

and when I stopped for a photopass photog the guy asked me if I was at the surf lesson yesterday.

Don't worry this one was cute not creepy I said I was and he said you must really like the water parks! It was nice being recognized

At this point we decided it was time for lunch and went over to Leaning Palms. I think I got a sandwich and fries my mom got a hot dog maybe and my dad got a burger? Without pictures I can't remember Then we went back to the water slides.

I think we ended up doing every slide there. My mom went on a couple as well which I was very happy about! She doesn't usually spend too much time in the water so it was nice to see her enjoying herself.

At some point I went off by myself and found a photopass photog well it was the creepy one who asked me my zodiac sign a few days ago at Blizzard Beach Luckily he didnt recognize me and I quickly posed then scurried off as fast as I could Of course these pics were on the pass we lost.


We went through the Lazy River multiple times and I swam around in the wave pool and then we got a snack.

This funnel cake was so good!** my mom wants me to add that they didn't take gift cards only cash or credit cards. Also she wants me to add that if you bring little ones to get them water shoes since our feet burned after walking around on the hot cement.


We were beginnning to get tired so we decided it was time to head back to the resort and get ready for dinner.

The pictures that you did get are gorgeous. It makes me want to visit, although I doubt we will in May. It's been years since I've been there and it really looks like a relaxing way to spend the dat, but $42 a ticket? Sheesh.

Actually, both my boys and I have water park tickets left over from a non-expiring ticket we bought years ago. What a great value they were.

What great pics you got...sounds like a fun day! We visited TL in 2007 when we went with my BFF and her family....Crush 'n Gusher scared the beejeebies out of me...so I did it only once

There is nothing better than floating on that lazy river...I don't think it gets any better than that....

Since I was low on pics I put up some from the day before during my surfing lesson We did not get there that early I think we got there around 11

It was kind of expensive but it was one of the best days of our trip so well worth it! We got the water park and more option this trip to save some money and are planning on hitting up Blizzard Beach as a family.

Sounds like soooo much fun! I haven't been to typhoon lagoon since 2004. I really want to try the crush 'n gusher coaster. It looks like sooooooo much fun! Good Luck on Your Finals as well Caitlin! Also, that's so cool that you guys will be there so soon! I love the feeling right before your trip when you really start to look forward to it. I didn't know they had a race in May too. My last trip we just happened to be there for the marathon weekend and it was crazy!

It was a great time definitely one of my favorite days!

Well they are at the bottom of a very deep tank so you can see them but it's not like they can touch you so it isn't too bad. The whole not moving around too much is sort of scary though

I will! That was probably the worst part of our day because the Crush n Gusher is surrounded by cement

We loved TL. We didn't do waterparks last trip. But I think we will this trip. Wasn't sure which one we wanted to try but you may have convinced me to go there. My DH and kids would really like the Crush n Gusher.

It looked pretty empty. How crowded was it? What day of the week did you go? Thanks. And good luck with your finals. I'm sure you will do great!

That pic of the lazy river makes me rethink maybe I should add water parks but the price reminds me why I won't this trip. Great update. I still have over 5 months before our trip but already want to play disney music, kind of like wanting to play christmas music in july.

It wasn't that crowded I think we maybe had five minutes wait in some of the lines but that was about it. I really don't remember running into a ton of people
