Who knew choking each other would earn us fastpasses?

:blush::blush::blush:

Awww, thanks for the shout out. I'm here to help!

Glad to know you got through your first "disagreement". Seems like it is all falling into place. Yay!!

Goodness, that's a lot of traveling in a short period. They are going to be tired. Geez! I'm worn out just thinking of it all.

Hey Lisa,
sounds like the wedding plans are falling into place...and sounds like alot of fun and emotional stress (for Lacey-she must be missing Jesse by now) but, sounds like some really nice plans....as for the Disneymoon can't they drive back to TN from LA and plan the Disneymoon a week or month later (Joe's sister just got married last weekend and they are going on their Honeymoon the week after Thanksgiving--she had just started a new job). need to go back and catch up on your PTR
 Connie

edit: OK! caught up on last post not as far behind as I thought... that salad really looks yummy! and how fun to meet another disser!
sounds like Hunter got his bounty's worth on his shopping adventure, glad to hear you guys finally found it

Yea for all the wedding plans! So much fun....and stress..LOL! Ok, I have an idea...what about if they flew to Disney and did not drive? It would only be airfare for two people..you can get some really good deals flying out of Dallas or Jackson (I know Jackson is much closer than Dallas for you guys!) I have seen tickets for around 150 each round trip from Dallas! I just love Disney...and will try to get their anyway possible!!

Grreat updates!! jeff braved SWW, girls and I went to Cape May for bkfst :) Wedding planning can be stressful.

We found this beautiful place that holds church retreats.

Where?!?! Where?!?! :thumbsup2 Maybe I know it!

Believe it or not, they thought about "roughing it" and going camping, hiking and canoeing.

Um... Clearly, you raised your daughter properly, as any married woman would NOT want to spend those first few weeks in a... um... tent and sleeping bag. :rolleyes1

Good morning Lisa!

First....so glad you found Bob's Bounty! What a relief! ;)

Sounds like the wedding is all coming together. I'm sure that little hiccup won't be your last! :rolleyes1

I love the cupcake idea. We went to a wedding this past summer and they had a cupcake tower instead of a cake. Very cool and very pretty if it's done right! :thumbsup2

Lisa, that is great about the wedding plans! Glad everyone is on the same page again! Weddings are suppose to be a joyous occassion, but the planning process can get stressful! I always tell brides, no matter what you do to make the day perfect somethings always goes wrong! Whether its the stupidist little thing or something bigger (which hopefully not!), you just can't let it get to you! What matters most is that you are marrying the love of your life! Now of course, all of that is easier said then done, but I try! LOL! Anyway. Glad all is well! Can't wait for another update!

Oh! An idea about the cupcake tower... If its going to be costly to do cupcakes for each person (not sure how many plan to come) you can do a pretty cupcake tower display and then a sheet cake that can be cut and given out to people as well on the bottom of the tower. I have seen that before. Publix does AMAZING cakes, look into Publix. I don't think there is one in Cleveland, but there are several in Gainesville, so it could be transported. I'm serious- their cakes are devine!

We finished up our food and I told 3LittlePirates and her family goodbye on the way out. I commented to Hunter that I couldn't believe that we met some Louisiana neighbors and he said he thought it was pretty darned cool.

Have I mentioned how doggone hot it was that day? Well, if I did, I said it an installment or two ago so I'll say it again. It was hot that day! And this comes from a Louisiana gal who's used to the heat and humidity.

So, we made our way to the front of the park to wait on John. I sent him a text asking if he was on the bus yet. He said he had just gotten on it which would mean he would be there in just a few minutes. And, it was, seriously, just a few minutes. I think it might have been...maybe...10 minutes before we saw him coming through the turnstiles. Makes me love the fact that the CBR is centrally located even more.:thumbsup2

We didn't really know what we wanted to do. We knew that there would be no way we could ride Toy Story Mania. It was, after all, already after lunch time and we knew that the chance of their being any Fastpasses was slim to none....leaning heavily towards the none.:sad2: We had Fastpasses to see Lorne Peterson at 2 something and the Boba Fett guy Fastpass was for later that afternoon.

Normally, the line for The Great Movie Ride moves fairly quickly, so we figured that would be as good a place to go as any. While walking down Hollywood Blvd., we saw streetmosphere actors. The lady said she was taking driving lessons and the faces the guy with her made were priceless! Every time she would back up the vehicle, she'd say in a nasally voice "Backing Up! Backing Up! Backing Up!". :lmao: Okay, so maybe it was funnier in person.:upsidedow

We stopped outside of The Great Movie Ride so Hunter could see some of the handprints. Of course, he spotted David Copperfield's immediately. (He was so into magic and illusions during that time.)

Once we got inside the theater, we were pleased to see that the lne wasn't long at all. In fact, we were able to walk almost all the way down to the front of the theater before stopping. I wanted to see if I could take pictures on the ride without a flash.

Look at what I took a picture of:

Go ahead, admit it.....you've all taken one of those kinds of pictures before. I have so many pictures of my knees, or my feet or the floor. Thank goodness we no longer have film that we have to get developed and we waste our money on worthless pictures.

Our vehicle started moving and I tried a picture of the entrance without a flash:

Yeah, well, before you start saying "that's not a bad picture", "she did pretty good", etc. etc. etc.....look at these sorry ones::scared:

At least you can tell that we went through the Western side of the ride when we were stopped by our new "tour guide".

I did manage to get one decent picture on the entire attraction. But, you'll notice that there weren't any animatronics in it. Just a stupid prop/building::rolleyes1

***Boss is calling me!

Hey Lisa! I'm all caught up over here. Yay for Hunter making the honor roll! Glad Lacey has figured out how to get the credits while staying at home, but stinks that the tuition is coming OOP.

Loving all the SWW posts. I am hoping we can make it to DHS to see it one year. Great pics of Hunter with Chewy and Darth Vader. Woohoo, for finally (and I stress finally) finding Boba's Bounty.:goodvibes

Sounds like the wedding plans are coming along. Good thinking on buying the wedding stuff a little bit at a time.:thumbsup2

So hard to get any kind of picture in GMR. I think the one of the bag/floor came out nicely.:lmao: But I am feeling like the ride broke down and I am stuck in it, boo to your boss for cutting you off!:rotfl:

Hi Lisa! So, I am here in FL now, did my first day at WDW today, and I am already starting my TR! :lmao: I just wanted to get a start on it, most of it will be done after I get home.

You said you wanted a link once I started it, so here it is: Surviving Solo

Happy to hear the wedding plans are coming together. Ours are too. We actually went up to the venue last week to look around with the photog (a friend of Tanisha's) and so I could take table and chair measurements for overpays and bows. The biggest problem of the day ... the in-laws wanted to come look around. Not such nice people. The owner of the venue (an older woman who owned the farm) came up to me after the in-laws left and asked me, "What's wrong with that woman?" No one said a word and she had actually been on her best behavior. Said a lot with that one question. :lmao:

Oh, and all those photos aren't out of focus, blurry or of oddball things like feet, floor and legs. They are actually ART! Come on, you could frame them, slap a cool sounding title on them, sell them for big bucks on eBay and pay for Lacey's wedding. :lmao:

Hey, it's a thought. :confused3 :rotfl:

Great update! I'm so happy that the wedding plans are going along smoothly now. I LOVE the idea of a cupcake tower! :thumbsup2

Ok, I have a question...I think I have only rode the great movie ride 3 times ever. I knowthere is a cowboy or gnagster, but I only remember the gangster....so do you go through a different room/part of the ride if you get the cowboy?

Hi. Lisa. Yes, I've taken more than my share of pictures of feet, floors, ceilings, etc. You are right...thank goodness we no longer have "film." :lmao::lmao:

It is so hard to take pictures in some of those rides because you are either on the wrong side of the ride or you are continually moving and you can't get the shot in. I've given up on a lot of those rides even trying to take pictures.

You know I'm glad about the wedding coming together. Amanda and I are working on hers all the time. I am going to order the unity candle and thank you notes as soon as she shows me what she wants. Matt's mom is out buying up everything and if I want to be part of the planning I got to get to buying..........:rotfl:.

Matt works at Domino's delivering pizzas until he graduates and it worries the heck out of me. A Domino's delivery boy was killed here last night and my stomach is in knots. I wish he would find something else to do. I worry about him and I know his mom must be beside herself with worry.

You see both on each run through. This is one of my fave rides. Don't know why cuz it seems kind of corny, but I love it. But then, the TTA is another fave of mine. Does this mean I am getting old?
