Who knew choking each other would earn us fastpasses?

Okay, we'll cut him some slack this time. He is a good hubby taking care of calling your mama for you.

Yeah I can't fault him for that. Most times when he is on the phone it's either his brother calling to shoot the bull or it's a customer. Can't blame him for trying to drum up business either. And they say women like to talk on the phone?:rolleyes1

Lisa, so sorry to hear about your BIL passing aways. Your family is still in my thoughts and prayers.

Great updates. The Plaza was one of my favs last year.

The pics from the campsite are beautiful.

Lisa, I am so sorry to hear about your bil. He's in heaven now but I know how much you will all miss him. I will really keep all of you and your sister and family in my prayers.

Great updates. Really cracking up with the Plaza Pam story! I love the Plaza, I'll think of your family and Pam when I eat there three weeks from tonight!

Can't wait to see your Wishes footage!

Love the camping pictures, I sort of have a love hate relationship with camping! The spider thing brings to mind the "hate" part of that whole thing!

Take care during a tough time sweetie.

Im here (Way late) But im doing it this late because we were there at the same time. Sadly I will not be posting comments as I will be trying to catch up.:sad2:

So sorry for your loss. Even though you all know he is much better off now, it's still really hard. 22 years ago today, I lost my step-dad (who was like my dad) to cancer. And it's still hard. My prayers and thoughts are with your whole family.

On a happier note, you took some wonderful camping pictures. I am not a camping person, and it almost made me want to camp. But I emphasis ALMOST. :rotfl:

My sympathies and prayers to you and your family. I hope it brings you some comfort knowing he is no longer suffering and is at peace with the Lord.

I am very happy you were able to get away and relax last weekend, you are going to need your strength in the coming weeks.

Loved your photos. HOWEVER... enough with the derned spiders! :scared1: I nearly fell out of my chair at the big leggy one on the bathroom floor. I spent 20 years as a rough and tough soldier, I can play with snakes, I don't mind rats, I chase and catch mice to release them outside and I have no problem with bats. But put a spider ... any size spider ... anywhere near me and I run screaming like a little girl. :confused3

So sorry about your BIL. I will keep his family in my prayers. Thanks for the camping update - that was a lot of fun. I wondered why you were bypassing Lake DeGray to go to Hot Springs Nat. Park. I have always heard that Lake DeGray is the nicest park in the state, and everyone just loves it. You should try it next time and let us know! (I am originally from SE Arkansas, but haven't been to Lake DeGray myself.)

Thank you so much for the prayers.

I had forgotten how much we enjoyed the food at The Plaza so we were very pleasantly surprised at how good everything was.

The campground is very pretty. During the warmer months, they offer all sorts of programs for the kids.

I appreciate your thoughts and prayers. They are very much needed.

Pam was something else. At first, we thought she was trying to play a trick on us but then we realized that she really thought we wanted "lots".

I love camping. It's such a nice getaway from everything. No worries except for whether or not I am going to be the fish catching champion.

Im here (Way late) But im doing it this late because we were there at the same time. Sadly I will not be posting comments as I will be trying to catch up.:sad2:

Welcome aboard! You can use my handy dandy links in the first post to catch up. Looking forward to reading your comments.

I am sure that yesterday was a sad day for you. Time passes so quickly but yet it seems like just yesterday when you lose a loved one.

You really should give camping a try. In Arkansas, some of the state parks have a rent a camp (not the correct name) where they provide the shelter for you and it's already set up and everything. That would be the way to go for somebody who wasn't really sure if they want to invest in all of the equipment.

My sympathies and prayers to you and your family. I hope it brings you some comfort knowing he is no longer suffering and is at peace with the Lord.

I really do appreciate all of your thoughts. My sister and nieces are handling things really well. I am sure that it will be hard for them to go through the visitation and funeral but they are also glad that he is no longer suffering.

You are a much braver person than I holding a snake. I am terrified of them. I mean pee my pants terrified. I don't mind mice, rats, bats or most anything else but don't bring a snake anywhere around me.

You should be glad I didn't post the pictures from the year we went camping and the spiders were migrating. There were spiders everywhere....even tarrantulas.

So sorry about your BIL. I will keep his family in my prayers. Thanks for the camping update - that was a lot of fun. I wondered why you were bypassing Lake DeGray to go to Hot Springs Nat. Park. Thank you for the condolences. In all of our years of camping in Arkansas, we have never stayed at Lake DeGray. We've driven down there but never stayed there. I picked up a Lake DeGray brochure and was looking at it last night. It looks like it would be a fantastic place tos tay.

Sorry to hear your brother in law has passed. I will keep your family and his my prayers.

Loved your camping TR. I find that there are alot of busy bodies out there, just waiting to get into your business! :sad2:

Sorry to hear that your BIL has passed. Even when you know it is for the best (given what he was going through), it does not make it easier. My prayers are with you and your family.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I can see how the camping trip was well needed. You all looked like you had so much fun. It is so nice to see a family so close like you are.:goodvibes

This past weekend we were in Monroe visiting my parents. Kind of funny that I go to Monroe to relax on the water (they live on the bayou) and you head 4 hours north to camp and relax!

Great camping pics, Lisa! It looks so nice and peaceful.

I can't ever understand why people feel the need to baby other adults sometimes. I think it's funny that your neighbor was up early and out of there. She probably didn't want you coming over to tell her she was doing something wrong.

I'm in the "family" mode as well. We are getting down to the end of my husband's MBA program that takes him to Tennessee just about every weekend and I'm looking forward to having family time on the weekends again. He's done at the beginning of December and I just can't wait!

My brother-in-law passed away last night around 10 p.m. My sister was with him and she told my mother that he simply stopped breathing. It was a peaceful death as they were finally able to stop his pain with sublingual morphine. I haven't personally spoken with my sister today as she and her children are making the arrangements for the visitation and funeral. But, I have sent text messages back and forth to my niece who said they are all holding up fairly well.

I ask that you please keep them in your prayers as I know that they have heavy hearts this morning.

 All of you will be in my prayers.

Wonderful camping TR! We went with Henry just before he turned 1, and then again when he was 2, but we didn't make it this summer due to moving - makes me really miss it! I too just love the freedom of it - no one cares what you look like, it's so relaxing and enjoyable...and YES the food always tastes way better for some reason!

Lisa, I just wanted you to know that all of your family is in my prayers. I'm not sure exactly when the services are scheduled for, but we are sending you many :hug:

Lisa, I'm so far behind and I promise I'll be back to catch up.:goodvibes

But, I wanted to tell you how sorry I am to hear about your BIL. I will continue to keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Lisa, first I just want to say how sorry I am to hear about your BIL's passing. He is in a greater place now, with no pain, and looking down on all of you! You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

I really enjoyed your mini trip report of your weekend of camping! Seems like you all had a great time just being together! Glad to hear that you will be trying to make it a monthly thing! Family is what matters most!!!

Can't wait for an updated Disney report!!!! Have a great weekend!

I'm so sorry to hear about your brother-in-law, but I'm glad it happened in his sleep and he was not in pain anymore. I thinking of you and your family.

Now on to the TR I loved how they made Hunter's b-day so special at the Plaza. We have never eaten there but its on my list of wants.

The poor raccoon looked like he was praying for someone to come save him! I hope he isn't to traumatized by the ordeal!

Your camping pictures are beautiful I'm glad you had such a good time. Minus the SADPR! Too funny although I'm sure it wasn't then(funny that she high tailed it out of there before you woke up too!

Im not sure but did your TR finish or are you taking a break and talking about something else?:confused3

Lisa, I am very sorry for your loss. Big

Loved all the camping pics, especially the sunset ones. looks like a fun time. We are going to take the girls camping overnight next weekend.

I just found your trip report and I'm loving it! I'm reading at work though and keep getting pulled away! I hope I get a chance to get everything you have posted to this point read before we leave in 2 weeks!
