Who Killed Jenny Schecter? SPOILER ALERT!!!

Yesterday, the Los Angeles Times reported that Mama Chaiken will leave us all in the dark about the identity of the killer:

Though The L Word will soon end, at least one character's journey could continue. Chaiken has written and directed a pilot presentation for Showtime costarring [Leisha] Hailey, whose chirpy, gossipy Alice has often provided the show its funnier side. That it's a women-in-prison show that Showtime recently likened to a female version of Oz — the über-bleak HBO drama — has not only caused utter confusion among fans, but worry that, in fact, we already know who killed Jenny. (Spoilers abound ahead.)

Not that the finale will provide an answer.
According to Chaiken, the whodunit will end unsolved.
"There are ways I could still answer it if the need were to arise," she said. "But I don't actually feel compelled to answer it. The show is about character and relationships, and I used this story to deeply explore those relationships. It's a risk not to solve a mystery, admittedly."

This is completely unacceptable! WTH? Are any of you even half as mad as I am right now?

My first thought was that she killed herself. She's just the drama queen to do such a thing. I don't care what motives the rest of the cast had, I just don't see any of them offing her. I can, however, see her killing herself...with some dramatic farewell hidden somewhere just well enough for someone to find.

I too will be watching faithfully to the bitter end...

After thinking about it for a couple of days, I've decided I'm ok with not knowing "whodunit." The problem with finding out is that someone would have to pay for the crime. Since the world is a better place with her gone, i don't feel anyone should have to suffer for doing us the favor.

Oh man. I was hoping for an awesome murder mystery! [a la the golden girls murder mystery weekend episode!] That's kind of disappointing. Although, I really did think if anyone would kill Jenny it would be herself. She's miserable.

Was it just me or was last Sunday's episode not the best episode ever?

I mean, Leisha should so totally get an Emmy for her roll as Alice reacting to the whole Shane/Jenny hook-up.

The whole episode, outside of the "Shenny" intimate stuff had me

Agreed, boring episode. I mean with only 4 episodes left, shouldn't we be be getting cracking on all those pesky loose ends?

As great as the episode was 2 weeks ago, I must admit that this week's episode just sucked. I am afraid this is indeed leading to being an unsolved mystery.

The only reason that I want to know WHO killed Jenny is so that I can immortalize them for doing an amazing fictional public good.
