Who is waitlisted for Nov. and for What?

We have a two bedroom villa at WL booked for Nov. 5-12, but would like to be at the boardwalk. We aren't necessary wanting the resort more, but my family decided to stay there a couple of weeks ago. I guess I should be happy I got what I did. What's your scoop?

We just decided to make a quick last minute trip for Nov. 10-14th. We are waitlisted for any type of accomodation on the 10th (DVC was completely booked). We did get a 1 bedroom at SSR for the 11th-14th. I did a waitlist for the 11th-14th for VWL, because we have never stayed there. Between Food and Wine Festival and Soap weekend during that time period, I guess it is a really busy DVC time.

Called yesterday checking on something else and found we could get the Nov 10th at SSR in a 1Br. So we have all our nights. Now just waitlisting for the entire stay at BCV, BWV, or VWL. Not very hopeful though.

We're booked in a 1 bdrm at VWL for 11/5-11/11 and I'm waitlisted for BWV for the same time frame for a 2 bdrm std. Have been on the waiting list since I switched over at 7 months and nothing has come through. Since I already have a ressie, I asked for my waitlist to be extended to 7 days out (it will be more points if we switch) but I was told by MS that since it's such a busy time (Jersey week, end of F&W, coming into Super Soap weekend) I shouldn't hold out much hope. But things can change at 31 days so who knows?

We're waitlisted for the BWV for 11/10 - 11/18th. Not holding my breath for that one! Pixie dust for all of us!!!

I booked a 2bd for the week of 11/5-11/10 at BWV. I then had to waitlist to change the reservation to a 1 bd for the same time period and add a studio for the night of the 4th. I had set up the waitlist in July.

Over the past month, I have managed to get the studio (standard view) for the 4th and a 1 bd for the 5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th. I'm now just waiting for the 9th. We are thinking of moving over to OKW for the 9th in a studio or 1 bd if one is available. I will probably make the switch next week.

When I waitlisted, the only thing I requested was a NS 1 bd at BWV and to automatically make the reservation. I don't care about view.

I am now waitlisted for a 2bd & a studio at HHI for Spring Break. It's a Tuesday night that is sold out. So, I am hoping that will come through!

I've waitlisted a few times, and it has worked for me.

I have a 2 bedroom at OKW for 11/25 - 11/28. I am on a wait-list for BCV, BWV and VWL. I will be happy staying at OKW though because we haven't stayed there yet. We are on a quest to stay at all the resorts.

We were waitlisting VWL or BWV for 11/22-11/24. Both cleared this week, so we chose VWL. We are still waitlisting a dedicated 2 bedroom at BCV for 11/18-11/24.

I waitlisted for a 1BR standard view at BWV for November 5-10, at the seven month mark. I was able to get a couple nights, right off the bat, and waitlisted, day-by-day for the other three nights.

I don't remember exactly when they all came through...I would guess some time in May or June, maybe, but I did get all the nights I needed.

I have a 1 bdrm and a 2 bdrm reserved at VWL for 11-12 to 11-17. Made reservation exactly at 7 month mark.

Am on a waitlist for a GV at OKW for same time. When I made the reservation, I could have had all the nights in the GV but the first one, but choose to take all the nights at VWL. We are of the "we're not moving" school of thought. We'll be 7 adults and a 16 month old. Moving after one night didn't/doesn't sound like fun.

So, we are waitlisted for the whole reservation (all or none) at OKW. We really love VWL and that is where my DB asked to stay, so if it doesn't ever come through, we'll be just fine and dandy.

I have a cash res for a preferred view studio at BW for 11/9 through 11/14. I have a waitlist for the studio rooms any night of 11/9, 11/12 or 11/13. Hopefully I can plug in a night or 2 on points and save a little $$$.

We just cancelled our vacation for Thanksgiving week (Nov. 17-25) at the BCV,we had a studio for the week.

I hope someone can use those days.

But all is not lost for our family, as we were able to book a vacation the week of Christmas in a one bedroom for 2 nights at OKW and the last 3 night at our home resort BCV!

We have a 2-BR at SSR booked for Nov. 25-Dec.1 - we've never stayed there (our home resort!) so we're OK with that; but we are waitlisted for VWL on those same dates (all or nothing) because we've always wanted to stay there, especially at holiday time. Not holding my breath, tho....

My friends who are renting our points are waitlisted for the day before thanksgiving and thanksgiving day for a Studio at OKW...

Off to check, yet again, to see if it has come in.....

They have back up plans at Pop Century for those two days, but would prefer not to move....

We shall see. I am not very hopeful for them, and they realized the chance is low for the waitlist to come in.

We're waitlisted for any rooms at any resort for Nov. 26 - Nov. 30. Would prefer two two-bedrooms, but will take anything.

We are holding a one bedroom reservation at SSR for those dates.

we reserved a preferred view studio at our home resort BWV for 11/22-11/29 at 11 months out....but we love VWL at christmas time, so we got on the waitlist there at 7 months - all or nothing. so far it's been nothing

but we have yet to stay at our home resort, so if we get 'stuck' there, it will be ok...

My VWL studio waitlist for 11/15 came through.

Now, I'm just waiting for a few odd days during Pres. Week for an OKW studio. I do have back up plans at POFQ for the weekend prior and any days that don't come through but would rather not have to move more than once.

This is the first time I have had to manage 4 reservations with waiting lists and/or alternate plans. In the grand scheme of things, it's not a bad problem to have.

Waitlisted at BWV for Nov. 24-30, 1 bedroom, standard view. We do have ressies at OKW, but would like to stay at BWV because we have never stayed there.
