Who is up for a Disneyland DIS meet?

I will be attending a seminar at a Los Angeles LAX hotel Thursday, February 22nd and early Friday, the 23rd. It will be over by about 1 PM or so. I am flying in on the 21st about 4:30 PM, unless I can get a standby, getting me in about 11 AM. I will be staying till late (flight out about 10:30 PM) Sunday, the 25th.

I would like to visit DL at least one day, and maybe DCA also. I should make a visit to see 2 of Marie's aunts who live in Van Nuys and Encino, (like to do that on the 21st) but other than that I am free for whatever. MaryJo and Michelle are aware of my stopping out and will see what can get put together, DIS meet-wise.

Any thoughts from any folks here on the DL Board??

My vote is for Friday evening or Sunday...as I told Dan, the crowds at DL can be unbearable on Saturdays!

Thanks for the bump, Teri!

One thought, if it works better for people, is to do Saturday at someplace in Downtown Disney, not in the parks. Just a thought. If we do DL, then Sunday afternoon would be best for me.

MJ, no holiday that I know of! I think teri mentioned it on a post somewhere? I think it will just be the "normal" busy that it is on the weekend.

You guys don't have that week off. Here in NorCal some schools have that whole week off, people all go skiing or on a vacation. But So Cal schools are normal, so DL will probably be the normal weekend crowd, not like spring break. Lots of availability at hotels, that is usually a good sign.
