Who is the woman on the View?

Just turned on the View and I'm wondering who the new woman is that's on there. Is she a temp? With all the flooding we've had in our area, they do news updates at the beginning of every hour so I always miss the beginning of every show. Anyone know?

I don't watch OLTL either. I just happened to see the beginning of the View and heard BW introduce her.
She seems to fit in okay. Maybe BW is "interviewing" possible replacements over the summer in time for the start of the fall season

I do think the replacement for Star will be an African American woman though as BW wants "diversity and different "Views" from the panel of women that sit at the table.

which is how I wonder how Rosie and Joy are going to get along. Both loud, both comedians, both opinionated. It will be interesting.

Entertainment Tonight said that "The Viewmaster" had talked to Sheryl Lee Ralph and then she said she would love to do it, so we'll see what happens. I like her.

I had heard on some show when they announced Rosie was coming to the show that Rosie and Joy are good friends and go way back.

I love Sheryl Lee Ralph. She is great. I saw her in Dreamgirls. I was living not far from NY, and I went several times. She is so talented.

there's also been talk about oprah's bff "gayle" being considered (the talk is that it could help out the show in getting some guests that oprah would'nt be as likely to "swipe" out from under from her bff, and oprah is said to be very willing to let bff walk out of her big job with her company at a moments notice to accommodate the hiring).
