Who is staying onsite during the March meets?

I got a Universal video today with all the FOTL access information. I am tempted to take a crowbar to my wallet and finally stay onsite.

Who will be staying onsite during the March meet? I don't want to feel left out of FOTL! :)

We still haven't decided on-site or not; down Fri. nite or Sat. morn; bring my mommy or not (if she wants, that is); etc. etc.
I can procrastinate with the best of them! (Till all the rooms are booked, then I'll be hurting) We're 3 hours away, so we usually wait and make gameday decisions.
What I'm wondering though is , has everyone considered their strategies for FOTL with early March crowds? Many times you don't even need to use Express in the A.M. We went this past Sat. and the longest wait was Hulk & Kong in the middle of the day (15 mins.) *Spiderman was down at 3 P.M. when we got there. Didn't open before closing either...DD was steamed! I figured that would have been maybe a 20 min. wait.
Anyway, with this "new" Express/FOTL system, a couple scouting missions will be in order. If at all possible we might even try and meet ya'll at the Backwater Sat. (Family pow-wow Fri. nite will decide) Will definitely go for Mardi kick-off!
Oh, if do go Sat., I'll have the beat-up Atl. Hawks hat on(that used to be red!)

Come on Barry break out the crowbar!
I am staying onsite!! You know Donna (Molokai) is and so is Linda ( lalalindica) My hardest decision is to stay at Hard Rock or stay at Portofino...those beds ya know they are calling my name! lol I'm so torn because I want to try Hard Rock but at the same time I know what I'm getting at Portofino And then again everyone else is staying at Hard Rock, I dont wanna miss anything!! LOL Okay I think I just talked myself into Hard Rock that way in the future I can pick my favorite. :D

As Maria (JessicaR) said, yes - we are also staying on-site. I have reservations for Friday March 9th thru Sunday March 11th at the HRH. My kids (two boys 10 & 11) and I will be arriving at the HRH Friday evening and leaving late Sunday evening.

Barry - you should stay on-site for at least one night! That would give you FOTL access for two whole days! I booked our room at the $117 entertainment rate!

JessicaR - I can sympathize with your dilema! I am also in love with the Portofino, and intend to go back there one day very soon...but the HRH looks like SO MUCH FUN too! And you can't beat the rate! :D

Aloha,

You know I am at the HRH, can't compare to PBH - never stayed there. I am checking in on the 8th for 5 nights. Come on Barry, go for it. You deserve it. :)

BTW aren't Valarie (Taff) and Sandy (Megsmom) also staying at HRH??? And for all we know, Earl may be prowling the hallways at night. ;)

We are going to have to celebrate onsite too!

Donna

I will be staying at the HRH in Feburary with Dave O'Brien. I am tempted to stay at the Portifino this time just to see what the fuss is about. I got to splurge at least once in my life! I guess I can eat baked beans and corn for meals during my stay. :)

We will be staying at the HRH, but we will not be arriving until late afternoon on Saturday.
Hopefully we will be able to meet you all at one of the meets on Sunday ( so please keep that schedule updated :)

We are staying onsite also! Cmon Barry, there may be a few kinks to work out with a new hotel yet, it will only be NEW for so long. Wouldn't you like to say to your grandkids when you bring them to Universal in 30 years,"I stayed in that Hotel when it was brand new!"
Perhaps you can splurge for just one nite. Ya know the posters would love to read about your opinion of the hotel on the trip reports.

Surely Pete Werner can get you a TA rate at one of the hotels. It never hurts to ask.

I'm 99 and 44/100ths percent sure I'm coming. Just haven't made arrangements yet..
