vomit in a restaurant? At work the other day, an elderly woman got sick at her table. Vomited into her plate and onto the table, and down her shirt. She was probably 70-80 years old. Her daughter, probably 50-ish, was with her. The daughter wanted someone to clean up the table AND her mother. My boss said she would clean up the table, but it was HER (the daughter's) responsibility to clean up her own mother.
What do you think? Who's responsibility was it?
IMHO if I took my elderly mother to a restaurant and she got sick, it would be MY responsibility to clean her up, and the table/floor too. I would ask for paper towels, a rag and some bleach water or something to clean things up. I wouldn't think it would be anyone else's responsibility.
