Who Is Planning A Disney Trip In 2010?

I made my reservations for August 2010 while we were there in August 2009. My boys and I just went for 5 days before Christmas.

After taking this December trip so close to August, and with both of them being fairly long (to us-August trip was 8 nights) I think I have decided that one long trip per year is enough. The December trip was a little overkill after the long August trip.

Well, we went 3 times to WDW in 2009, so 2010 is DLR year......plan on April, June, and Oct. (also have a DCL in Sept)

Most likely two trips in 2010--one early, and one later in the year.:earsboy:

We are!!!

I was supposed to be going next Sunday staying Jan 10-15 at SSR :( but I had a class that I was supposed to take in the summer sneak up on me and I can't miss a single day for that one :guilty:

But, it's ok because we're still going in April!!!

We're stay at BC April 18-21 and BW 21-23. Because we had to switch that SSR reservation and we were using DVC points for that reservation, we have 60 points in holding so we're going to use those to book the weekend before or after April 18-23... whatever is available after the holding period is up.

Then we won't be going back to the World for 2+ YEARS!!! :scared1:

Our next trip will be in December 2012, staying at WL... and we'll be going for Christmas day :scared1:

I got home from my last trip on 12/15 and have three trips planned for 2010. February and May are booked, and I'll be calling to book BLT for December in a few days.

Yep. Trying to plan a trip in October for MNSSHP. That will make it 2 years for us since our last trip. WAS trying to make it a surprise trip for DH and DD, but DH informed me that DD (she's 6) informed him that she wants to go to WDW for her birthday (which is July 1 and I have no desire to do Disney in the summer, much less over 4th of July weekend). So, I told him I was already in the research stages of planning an October trip :goodvibes. Now my dilemma is whether to extend the invite to the in-laws. My parents may tag along (they are up in the air at this point), but they are easy, go with the flow, you tell us where to be and we'll be there type people. We've done Disney with them before and it was easy breezy. I know if I don't extend the invite to the my in-laws, I'll be made to feel horrible about it for a VERY long time. They are just not easy to be around, nor travel with for extended periods of time (their way is the better way type folks) AND they always insist on bringing my 10 year old nephew along and I really want this trip to be about MY KID and I don't want to have to do what other people want to do. I do the planning and my family goes along because I spend a lot of time researching crowds, calendars, etc. Selfish I know, but it works. :lmao:

Wow, didn't mean to vent there :rotfl2:

We're going in March. We went in March last year, too.

Check the siggie! October 13-18 for us. And yes, the trip is being gifted to us. My first gifted trip ever (as an adult.) My Dad is footing the bill for me, DH, Dsis andDBIL, as well as younger Dsis and DMom. Pop Century, F&W and Harry Potter at Universal!

We are hoping to go in December 2010. Our first family trip as a family of 4!! :cloud9:

Actually, DH has a conference down there in May and even though Ryan will only be about 8 weeks old I am thinking of going down with just Ryan for a few days while Alexander spends some quality time with grandma and grandpa!

Yep!! We are going the last week in February.:cool1: We were there in May and it already feels like so long ago. Can't wait.:goodvibes

We are! :wave2:

We built a new house last year and will qualify for the $8000 tax credit - that should give us a pretty sweet return, so that's my Disney fund! :)

We are tossing around two different time frames - either the last week in September (free dining) or the second/third week in October (kids have a 4-day weekend). We will be staying at POR. Doing 4-5 days at WDW, a day at Sea World, a day at Universal (to see the new Harry Potter land), and 2 days on the beach out in the Space Coast area.

I already know where I want to stay (POR), and what restaurants I want to eat at. I know we will be doing MNSSHP, and the Luau at Sea World. I believe my mom and stepdad will be flying down from Vermont to join us.

I am sooo excited! We haven't been to WDW since September 2007, so by the time we go it will have been 3 whole years!! I am having definite withdrawls....

We are planning too for June 2010. It's been a long four years for us so we are very excited. :yay: We are staying offsite at Windosr Hills for the first time ever since we want the extra room the condo provides. Hope everyone has a great trip!! :dance3:

We'll be going in September for honeymoon part 2 (part 1 is a week in Jamaica right after the wedding).
It's been 3 years since we went to Disney and over 2 years since we took a vacation at all! SOOOO excited!

I'm tentatively hoping for one. I really want to go to Saint Augustine for spring break. I have fond memories of going as a child and I want to take my kids. Maybe we could do a surprise trip to MK one day? Hadn't considered that.

But, I'm hoping there are no car or home repairs and I'm able to save up for a trip in November.

My birthday is on July 2 so I never get to go to WDW on my birthday (my choice of course) but it reallllllly sucks. Of course, my mom's is on Sept 23 and DFiance is on Feb 7 so they always get to go on their birthday :: pouty emoticon ::

But I think, when it comes to vacation, you're allowed to be selfish.

5th annual Columbus Day Weekend Food&Wine Festival and MNSSHP trip:cool1:

Lol, I'm glad to know I'm helping you pay for Disney... :goodvibes
