Yeah, I'm not going on the Podcast cruise or the TSM meet, so this sounds like my kind of party.

Oh, damn going back to work for Christmas!!! I can't stay up for chat at random times of the night (unless I have a day off the next day...)

congratulations everyone!!!...

i won't be at either event either...

i'll be green with envy on the other side of the atlantic during the toy story mania meet...
and i'll be green with envy crossing the atlantic during the podcast cruise..

i guess i kind of get a consolation prize, in that i'll be on the Wonder the next week (the 4 day cruise on the 17th), but i know it will take a lot of effort not to do the "if only" thing during my cruise...
i'll miss meeting the podgang and all the wonderful disboard people...
oh well...

on the bright side, my sister made it through her surgery last week at Hopkins (she flew to baltimore for the surgery)....she'll be there about another week and then she'll head back to detroit to start her chemo....
so it sounds like she'll be good to go for our not-the-podcast-cruise in may.....

she can definitely use all the prayers....

this is her fourth battle with cancer in 5 years....

but she's a fighter....
and she's already proved every statistic completely wrong....she's outlived every prognosis by a mile...

so if anyone you know is diagnosed with cancer, don't believe the statistics....every person is different....no matter what they stay in the medical books, no matter how negative the prognosis, it doesn't mean a thing...

anyway....sorry for hijacking the thread..

i won't be at TSMM, but i'll be thinking of everyone there and i sure hope they have a super fantastic time....and with perfect weather....

The only way we could afford to go would be if Disney releases a huge deal for August and I work some overtime. ::crosses fingers::

Oooooohhhh, Comic Con...... You just made me a little bit more jealous......

The closest thing to that I got was my first trip to the MCM Expo in October, that was heaven!

I think that might put me over the weight limit. lmao.

I'm really excited to be going, I've never been before and am going so I can meet some Lost people. I'm a huge fan of the show. I'm hoping there will be some Disney stuff again next year as well.
