This is my first post even though I have been addicted to this forum for a few years.

We will be there the 16th-20th staying at the Disneyland Hotel. We had free airline tickets from getting bumped on our way home from D-land in June so we thought we would try March this time.

I know how you feel...problem is I have to work tomorrow and its going to be the longest day of my life

We are going 15-19 and I am starting to have second thoughts! Every room for miles is booked, less vacancies now than when we went over Thanksgiving!

I have that sinking feeling we won't even be able to walk through the crowds and the prospect of waits up to 120 minutes makes my stomach hurt.

Anyone else get that sick feeling when you walk up to DL and they have that big giant sign saying "DL is VERY busy today!"? I know I will be afraid to leave DL again because it closes. We only went to DCA once over TG because Dl was closed both Thurs and Friday. We like to do DL early in the am and spend the afternoon at CA and then come back to DL for the evening. When they close DL, you don't want to leave and take a chance of not getting back in!

Driving 7 hours and spending over 1100 for just 4 night at DLH is a lot IF it will be mobbed and miserable. When it is that crowded, service in all areas declines from the hotel to the parks themselves and I feel for the CMs. Also saw DL has added fireworks for the whole week now instead of just the weekend so I know they are expecting big crowds as well. Next thing we might see is an extension of the hours for those weeknights!

Anyone else having second thoughts and doubts?

That's what the sign said in the parking lot on March 5. I had to ask the CM handing out the parking tickets if it were true and he said, "Yup, with an emphasis on very!" We only could stay as late as 2 p.m. but it was long enough to see what he meant!

March 11 - 19. yuck so it's going to be crazy busy? and raining? I'm getting that sick feeling now too, not 'cause of rain but I hate super crowded places.

Apparently the locals are a big influence on park attendance numbers, and tend not to go when it rains... so maybe pray for rain!

Yes! Pardon for jumping up again, but rainy days can sometimes keep the crowds away. One time we went it was cold and wet and there were NO lines. I remember riding Space Mountain five times in a row. Just off and on repeatedly. Eventually, that was enough and I went to go walk to another no-line ride.
