Who is going the week of/after New Years??

E were thinking of maybe doing a quick trip maybe right after New Years...who else is going then? Anyone going for New Years? I heard that is crazy right?

It is crazy! We like to swing in for new years and are staying dec 29 thru jan 5th. It's our way of starting the new year off right, having fun in the company of family and friends.

NYE is without question THE busiest night of the year at DL.

We were initial going to go from Dec 30- Jan 1st but due to a work conflict we are going a week later. Has anyone ever gone a week later? How are the crowds?

We will be there Dec 22-Jan 3. It will be extremely crowded, but we love it.

We are going for NYE and eventhough I am prepared for it to be completely nuts it is my daughter's b-day and she has always felt cheated having her b-day on a holiday and only 1 week after xmas so we wanted to make a special day for her.

We are not figuring on going on much and just trying to enjoy a nice dinner at Blue Bayou for her birthday and then go find some place to prop ourselves until midnight.

We aren't going on the 1st but will be there the 2nd-5th. Glad we picked this year since it sounds like next year you will have to pay even MORE to go at that time.

I can still find hotels..I am kinda thinking if we do go, to bypass NYE and just go on Jan 2 for three nights. Kids are off that week. Guess everyone's kids are off tht week too!

Oh Malcon don't worry. 60 days out is actually halloween LOL so I will be up bright and early that day to make them. That is one thing I DON'T want to get screwed up.
