Who is going the first week of Dec 06?

We are leaving 12/3 and returning 12/6 - just a short last minute trip to see the world decorated for christmas. We will be stay at CBR (first time) and I can't wait. I was even able to get ADR's for breakfast at the castle - my dd (6) will be so thrilled- I haven't told her yet about breakfast with cindy.

Who else will be there?

What is the weather like? 70's????

Going to Wilderness Lodge on Dec. 4 for one week....very excited!

We'll be at the POP the 1-7th. Last trip, 8 years ago, we went the exact week. The weather was perfect. There was a frequent light shower (that we often slept through at a quiet pool at BWI). We swam almost everyday.... but didn't sweat through the parks.

I've been told it gets very cool the end of December and sometimes it can start ealier. I'm going to pack for warm weather, but throw in an extra pair of jeans and a few sweatshirts for good luck!

The decorations are... well... magical. They appear out of NO WHERE. Every morning we'd wake up we'd be shocked at the increase of decorations. "Who the heck does all this work? Little elves?" We'd get in late at night and up early and days worth of work was done. You will be amazed!

By the way, we just hit the 12 week mark!! (I find that to be a huge milestone!) You all are just about there as well!

Were going Nov 29- Dec 9 then the cruise for the week. Our first ever trip. We upgrades to CSR. Which is where I wanted to stay to start with, but the boys wanted to stay at toy story. Then I told them that one of the pools was going to be closed.

I'll be at CSR from Dec.4-8. Last year I went Christmas week, and the temps varied from 30 F (the night I saw the CP) to high 70's. So it varies, you might say.

We'll be there from 12/2 thru 12/9 - staying at the Poly, but thinking of going down a day early...trying to figure out where I'd like to stay - kind of a surprise for DH and DS...thinking about AK...wanted POR or POFQ, but not seeing any availability on line for some reason....

Contemporary for 11/28-12/3.

My family will be staying at the Port Orleans Riverside resort from Dec.7th throught the 17th. Despite just breaking my foot, this old man is going even if I have to still be using a walkers.......should be ok by then.......It's been 18 long years since our last visit.

Well, despite a broken foot, the planning for my families upcoming Dec. trip is, if anything, gone in to overdrive. Having this down time has allowed us to refine our plans and we feel we have come up with a great vacation. A balance of great dining, extra activities and just cooling out during a great time of the year in the world. My daughter, which just graduated high school, is going to attend the Dolphins In Depth tour and all of us are doing the Lunch With An Imagineer. We have planned in lots of open time to take in the sight sof the Disney resorts and maybe even try out some boating! My wife and I are so glad that our daughter is as big a Disney nut as us and this should be one of those trips of a lifetime. POR on afternoon of Dec. 6th is calling our names! My family is going down from the 3rd of Dec to the 13th and we'll be staying at AKL. We are going right after my little sister's wedding. So it is her honeymoon and our second honeymoon! I can't wait to get there!!!!

I live six hours away and to the north of DW but the weather has been getting chilly around here all ready so be sure to pack a couple of warm things.

Yeah I say go for it! But do it on an early weekday so there will be less crowd. We did it last year and had a lot of fun. For some reason it puts you more into the Christmas spirit than you were before! hee! We used the time to catch up with rides because we missed a day due to illness. We got tickets for this years party too.

DH and I are going from Dec 1 - Dec 8. We're staying at CSR. This is our first time staying on Disney. I can't wait to see what kind of experience we have.

I've read alot of reviews from all over the internet from people who have attended the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. The majority liked it alot.....so we have purchased our tickets for Dec. 11th. There were those that did not like it, mainly because they thought it was to crowded.....yet some attending the very same date said it was like having the park all to themselves. But they all agreed that the shows and parades were great........also learned that Fronterland is a good spot to hang out. We can't wait to see it snow on Main Street!

Hi all, we will be invading WDW Dec2-9 on our very first trip!! We are staying at the Poly-we will have to look for each other LauraLee!-Dec 2-6th then move over to Pop entury Dec 6-9th! Cant wait! Still debating on MVMCP- does anyone thinkif I hold off buying tickets till we get there they will be sold out??I was thinking the 5th possibly.
I also booked the carriage ride from WL on Dec 3rd for us, Its a surprise for DH and I think a steal at $35! Hope to meet some disers while we are there!

We're going to MVMCP on the 5th...It's our first time at the world for the holidays and I didn't know if they'd sell out or not, so I went ahead and bought them - plus you get the advance purchase discount, so that helped sway my decision too! Yes, we'll definitely have to look for each other at the Poly!


You know, I've been driving myself crazy over booking the carriage ride...been dying to do that. Love the WL...we stayed there in February...looking forward to seeing it all decorated for the holidays!
